  1. Edwards is a stupid cunt. There isn’t any negotiations being done in public, the fee is agreed. Wtf is he even on about, man? Parasite.
  2. Christ, they're off their tits! I don't want to overvalue our players but those prices, Joselu aside, are way low imo. I’d want another £35m from that lot.
  3. And you probably need to wind yer neck in. Chill man, club have handled this perfectly and as expected. If Ashley starts flapping his gums something has upset him, and that’s bad for everyone involved, especially us. Sometimes saying nothing is the best policy. I wish these lowlife journos would follow this advice but then it doesn’t get you clicks and bites. Was this your craic during the Staveley saga as well? Edit - aye, it was. https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=99882.msg6574137#msg6574137 I think I was the first to call out the staveley deal on here. At the time it looked positive until it became clear (to me at least) she set the lot up. Ashley for once wasn’t the bad guy in that one. She played the press and in turn played the fans, didn’t make an acceptable offer, instead lowballed and used the media to put pressure on Ashley. She failed and has been in hiding since. If you think we’re at the same point as the curry photo as to now then I feel sorry for you. You're 100% wrong about Staveley. She made the offers and the final one was verbally agreed, only for Ashley to pull the plug and brand them as timewasters via the media, before they'd even informed the buyers. That's from my mate who works for the National newspaper over there and met/knew the people involved. Caulkin will also back up this version of events. If that is correct my initial reaction and the post I’m supposed to be ridiculed in was the right reaction. But I think now and did soon after she was just testing the water and was never really serious unless she got a bargain. Someone set up that photo, I honestly don’t think Ashley had it in him yet she had contacts and a best mate with that paper.

  6. Heard Carroll wants to go to America. Well his bird does, so he does.
  7. Ashley no commenting is the best thing we can hear right now while shit gets sorted out. Wheels are in motion and will take some time to complete. If Ashley says anything it will be negative and the deal has hit the rocks. So let’s be happy he’s happy by saying no comment. He really doesn’t need to do any talking right now, he’s more than likely waiting like the rest of us wanting a positive result. Should nothing come unstuck at their end that’s exactly what we will get. BZG are only commenting because of the intense media investigation and the fans demanding to know they next step, then when they give it they get questioned on why they are so vocal. Couldn’t make it up.
  8. No, he said no serious bid was made, and it wasn’t. This is nothing like staveleys bid, we’re much further on than that, I’m really struggling to understand posts like this.
  9. 25 average premier league players would be a great start, including 2 fucking left wing/backs. Be nice to see some options off the bench and competition for places. Right now we have too many nailed on starters due to lack of depth. Our best central midfielder a kid with 9 games under his belt.
  10. I think you are wrong, but don’t blame you in the slightest. It's just been so many years of repeated lies, media et al all going along with it that it will probably take a while if it ever happens for me to fully believe it. Its got me so cynical. We all have, and it really is the hope that kills you. But that’s what football is about. Hoping Rafa signs a new deal. Hoping for a better future beyond Ashley. So what if it ends up going the wrong way, if doesn’t hurt any more because you kept hoping it would happen and enjoyed the ride. In fact the opposite as realistically every failed attempt only bring us closer to the end of him and at least you could dream for a little while instead of thinking everything’s gonna go tits up. It’s been canny. Seen the return of old posters, seen some cracking posts, seen genuine excitement and seen actual hope. I’ve enjoyed the ride the last couple of days, just imagine what it will be like if this one comes though. It has to happen some day, why not now?

  12. Steve Wraith is a two bit boxing promoter who thinks because he sat next to someone who failed to buy us one time that he is relevant. He was sure Staveley would succeed so we can welcome the sheikh right now. Seems all the staveley crew are desperate for this not to happen. Fuck me they got sucked in big time.
  13. Tomorrow is going to be an important day, I can feel it.

The Magic Weekend has just been held at Anfield. Many Rugby League fans were unhappy about it being moved from SJP and even more so after experiencing Anfield because of it’s location and the lack of things to do around the stadium. The city centre location is a huge asset to the club and for these big events, it creates a great atmosphere around the event because all the fans are mostly concentrated in the city centre compared to other cities where all the visitors are spread out all over the place. Aye, works both ways. The club and the city need to be one. Juve’s Move (wham to s lesser extent) should show why a bigger stadium somewhere in the middle of nowhere isn’t the be all and atmosphere, surroundings and belonging all play a part. Spin the stadium around, block the strawberry delveopment, stay at 52, all preferred options for me and should be for the city.
  15. Am I just seeing this from a b&w side, or was their takeover attempt for Liverpool as widely publicised and monitored? Seems like the footballing world has gone daft about our little club in the last 24 hours, might just be there is no football on so slow news day, but I wonder what they make of it st the other end. Is it a good thing all this interest or is it a sign of things to come and really too hot a potato to handle and best running a mile?

The stadium is good for business for the city, the council should be bending over backwards to make sure it stays put. £25m the rugby weekend was worth. Wouldnt happen if sjp was 5 miles out the centre.
  19. I don’t believe you even have a job fuck off mag Sheikh at work.
  20. That's got to be a good sign, no? No one else picking up on this?
  21. Only 3 statements matter: Sun journo breaking it. Bin Zayed stating they’d agreed a price. Club officially confirming bin Zayed statement. Nothing else during or after those statements mean fuck all, yet a lot of money has been made off the back of it. Spot on Can I pinch this? My comments? Of course. Though You need to click here so I get paid. Www.anyonecanbeajourno.co.uk

It only took few days for them to turn on the owners. Should have turned on that greasy cunt months ago. Fingers crossed they keep letting him get away with it. He’s out for himself, more so than Donald Duck. I personally think it’s a disgrace a millionaire is having a pop at their numbers travelling down for a 2nd time in months while their season flakes out due to poor management and recruitment. The amount of money people spent getting there and back, double what some spent on season tickets, to do that twice in their numbers is commendable., especially directly comparing it to charlton fans who are on the doorstep of Wembley. What he should be having a pop at is the fans burning themselves out on the drink the night before leaving nothing in the tank for the next day, when it mattered. The fact they did this twice and no lessons learned is fucking ridiculous. Just about a session with the lads, football second and this is why they are where they are. I’d personally rather have a shit day out and get the result, seems a lot of their fans just wanted the day experience and TS was a medal they can wear for the next decade to crow about with other fans. Idiots.
