We could have had 2 or 3 players on the bench tomorrow ready for a massively important game. The clubs hands should be no longer tied. Let’s see how long it takes to sign someone and how important they will be. This window will be another Ashley window, which won’t be enough and we will be down.
-
The curry house should have been it, from there on some kind of announcement was needed. they were all very happy about something. We thought it was the deal was done, it’s now looking more likely they were playing us, backed up with media representatives just happening to be there. Totally set up, not sure why, maybe to have the hands tied excuse going in to this window.
-
All they’ve done so far is upset the current squad and produce a load on uncertainty. Window is basically here and they’ve still not done the deal. Can’t with till the 20th and they are still taking their time on offering a revised bid. Should do wonders for our chances of staying up.

I think our new owner or owners will be far more ambitious than Ashley ever has been or will. I don't imagine we will see mega money being spent, however. I think it was be gradual growth with an emphasis on investing on infrastructure, the academy etc. They haven’t even got the ambition to get the deal done. They haven’t understood announcing this would give us a much needed lift and some hope amongst fans for real change. Instead we roll in to tomorrow with no new players which is negligent in our current situation. All their decisions so far have been money first. We’ve had 10 years of that, it hasn’t worked.

I think it’ll go through sometime next month however we still won’t have a pot to piss in and will be in a relegation battle all season. I’ve seen nothing to suggest these lot are no different to Ashley, business first and football second. Same bullshit noises Ashley made when he first arrived and we all lapped it up. Ready made excuse when we do fuck all in this window, hands were tied with takeover, then the next window will be well we’ve now been relegated and it changes things, must cut our cloth accordingly.

Well that’s a daft move as we’d arguably have more points, more breathing space and a transfer window to put it right. God forbid these little darlings ever go on a cup run or Europe. Think pardew has something to say about Europe and fitness one time, maybe someone can remind me?
-
It’s horrible to say but an injury to him wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to the team.

We’ll lose this and we better be damn happy about it. -
Over achieving by just being out of the bottom 3? Wow, Rafa has done some smooth Jedi mind tricks on so many. To think of the reaction Pardew got and deservedly so when he tried to lower our expectations. Pardew and the likes had much better squads with actual talent like Ben Arfa in the team. This squad belongs in the championship that is clear as day. So yes just being out of the drop zone is overachieving for the shit we have. We needed significant improvements in the summer, Ashely said he’d give Rafa every penny and back him, but we were all lied to again. Now we’re stuck with this dogs hit squad playing one level above what they’re capable of. This squad isn’t as bad as Rafa has made out...which him basically stating they are Shit has helped wonders with their confidence. Joselu isn’t good enough at this level but is the second player on the teamsheet behind our captain. That’s the managers decision to buy him, tie up money we don’t have and play him out of sheer stubbornness to our cost. I know Rafa likes to play games, but it just feels like he’s playing with the future of the club, something he can walk away from when it goes wrong, we can’t. Ps..if we had HBA in the squad right now Rafa wouldn’t play him either.

Really worried what shit he tries to bring in next month. Won’t matter mind as Joselu will still start. He’s made a right pigs ear of the season, you can question the quality of the squad all you like, but he assembled Half of it, while tying his own hands with shite now out on loan as no one will buy them. Don’t get me started about his match day decisions, clueless for a so called world class manager.

Absolutely deserve the boos, pathetic result. Manager and players should hang their heads in shame. Useless cunts.
-
Struggling at home to Brighton. Regardless of the quality we have we should be doing better.

I’d hope for more than £12m, seems relatively cheap in today’s market.

Nice. So not content with finding us new owners his next mission is to scrap FFP so we can blow a load of money. Yup, nice.
-
That is true, but he was played there as he's not a lone striker, which is something that is critical in a Rafa setup. Ings would suit us more. I'm still 50/50 due to his injuries, however had he not have them we'd be nowhere near signing him either.
-
Minus his injuries he's a really good premiership quality striker. I struggle to think when we've had something as decent as him upfront. Is he more proven than Gayle in the PL? Don't think so. (Hope that wasn't a serious post) Ings has scored 13 Premier League goals in his career. Ings is 13 in 43, 11 of which were in 1 season, so he's a double figures striker in a relegation performing team. Gayle is 18 in 80, 7 being his highest. Neither are proven, but Ings is down to injury, Gayle's reasons for limited starts are much more questionable.

I'd be interested to know that too. I've heard of it with regards to thinking and the way your brain can make decisions but not in takeover stuff. It sounds like it could be the handover process maybe? Where the new owner has come in and there is that period of time where the previous owner stays along side to keep things steady. Just guessing though. Dual process would be two parties calling the shots.

Good gameplan, 90% executed correctly and almost got something out of it. Goal difference could also be key so we looked after ourselves though the media wanted us to open up, get hammered so they could take the piss out of us and wank over citeh. We did the smart thing and have some key players rested for Brighton where we will be much more competitive and have a chance of a win. Also would take the same narrow defeat when we play citeh again. No shame in it.

Big sell on clause please.

Gone wor captain 1-0.....650/1

The law of averages owe us for that Tiote goal. Tomorrow we cash in.

Seriously, don't worry about it. (Because that's what they want you to do)
