  1. I think his standing leg and his shooting leg are the same thing at all times, it's the only explanation for what I've just seen. Either that or he's got vertigo.
  2. I've not watched much under carver, surely this is a new level of low? We've not been that bad.
  3. Ryan Taylor after several seasons out against Di Maria
  4. Fucking kid n play looking twat should have had a pen there.
  5. if we don't get beat Manure need to be shot with shit. We should get done for match fixing
  6. I think he goes because it winds a few people up.

I'm 50/50 as to whether we have a manager in place at the end of the season, or we are just auditioning carver to see if he has enough about him to keep us safe year on year. We all know the obvious answer to whether he has enough, but maybe the board at too thick skulled to realise it and appoint him. Even if this happens he won't be here the following season, he will have us down in his first attempt. Carver, regardless of their thinking is short term, shame he thinks differently.

I remember Shearer sporting a bib in training with 'i've had a shitter' written on it in marker pen in the Souness era.
  9. Aye, but he might fall down as low as 400 if he spends anything. well he was 306th on Sunday so i guess you could be right.

They need to win 3 of their next 5 as after that it's a tough run in bar Leicester at home. Their next 5 are all winnable games as well, this news couldn't have come at a worse time. I can't see them rallying, they might get lucky, who knows, it'll probably be down to our game again.

Was 14 now 15, was it her birthday today?
  12. How is it pointless? Most teams either treat it as a consolation, a distraction, or a hinderance. It means the effort and quality is all over the place...bit like the league cup. It's certainly not a measurement of a team, it's too unpredictable. Of course you'll say that's a good thing, maybe it is for some but it's cheapened by the teams that don't want to be in it and it won't change until CL teams don't drop in for 3rd place and goes back to knockout right the way through. It's a lot more important now that CL qualification is guaranteed by winning it. It's important anyway for the teams that win it. You know what with it being a trophy and everything. I know you'd probably not realise that from your ivory tower of endless glory hunting success. Throwing in the token prize like that to try and make up for the terrible branding, format, scheduling decisions they've made to fuck up the UEFA Cup in the first place is a load of shite. Would be great to have it treated properly by eufa with that prize at the end of it, think teams would take it seriously. Knock outs throughout no CL clubs. Simples.

Tbf it's a good incentive, but no doubt a dropped CL club will get it, defeating the whole purpose of the competition. Until that changes it will always be a load of bollocks.

  15. 3 winners and 5 runners up in the last 10 years isn't bad. Spain 4 times winners once runner up. Italy 2 times winners once runner up. Germany 2 times winners 3 times runner up. Spain are much more successful in terms of Europa League too as well. PL still isn't the best league in the world. Level has fallen every year for the past 5 years or so. That Chelsea side that won the CL was never even close to the Man U side that lost to Barcelona in the finals couple years earlier. Tbh I was shocked english teams have done so well in the last decade, I pretty much think they are shite in the CL, usually outclassed technically and tactically. Europa man, it's, well, the Europa I love it when we're in it, but it's pretty pointless when you're not.

Not nearly in enough trouble for a result at the end of the season. They'll flirt, but never actually be in enough trouble to get excited about. They are hard to beat, don't score enough but Defoe will get them the odd goal and the odd win will come when they need it. I reckon they'll win more games than us between now and the rest of the season, probably pick up more point as well but we will still finish ahead of them. You're right, they're a blockage the league can't flush no matter how runny they are. It'll be another boring, predictable 3 promoted teams going straight back down affair. I'll go massively out on a limb and throw it out there next season will be exactly the same.

As usual i will be putting some substantial money on them beating us, and winning for the 4th time in a row.
