Very sad indeed. Always like Santon, seemed to care about the club and one of only a very small few that would be bothered that we got beat. I do however wonder if his injuries are more serious than we know. He could easily have lost a lot of pace and why we've not played him even if he's fully fit. I hope not for him, but does make some kind of sense of the situation.

Imagine trying to sell him the concept of backup cashiers.
-
We don't even need to replace him. This is free money for the club.

A central midfield of Colback Tiote and Anita is fucking grim. Picture 6 months of that. It's really only 4 months, plus Abeid and De Jong...though it wouldn't be great

60 grand a week 3rd choice...can see that happening. I'd personally get rid of the lot; colo, willo, Taylor, we'd get next to nowt, but it would free up a lot of wages and squad space. Can see us watching qprs season like a hawk and go for austin & caulker should they go down. honestly don't get what people see in Caulker Had a fantastic passing rate at swansea.

It reminds me of 'Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King'. Carver has an army of the dead on his side. http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140427132305/lotr/images/9/97/Aragorn_and_army_of_dead.jpg

Yup. He's a useful player. He has some glaring weaknesses that need working out but i think eventually he can do it and become more consistent.
-
The club would move forward quite easily if he left in the summer.
-
It was on target, but tame and easily saved had it not been for the deflection. He did well to get to that position. I think we'll start seeing players such as him improve a little under someone who isn't Pardew. He probably won't get back to where he was when he joined but its not impossible.

Don't get upset pet, its only banter. You love it, its your thing.

You had nowt interesting to say the other night either.

Ouch. I have done another unwittingly arseholish post, haven't I? It was a harsh truth bomb, that's all. Truth isn't dealt with very well in this thread. He's no Seb Larsson like, I know that Have you not got a hill to fall down in front of your girlfriend?

Never suggested it would, I'm just sick of wasting money on it tbh. My version of what a football club is match is nearly every football club bar the one I support. Not a dig at anyone, just hope people are doing it for the right reasons; themselves.

Ref is lucky not to get his jaw broken.

Won't make a difference cancelling. Attendance will be down by 1-2k at most. Ashley could probably close SJP and still run the club at a small profit. This tv deal, which will keep getting bigger, is his top trump. Maybe at some stage he was worried about attendances, but that has long gone. As long as the club remains in the division he doesn't care if you turn up or not.

I will see you outside the training ground for fisticuffs And mash.

Best newcomer 2015 sorted already.

They out already? Those dogs in your picture look like mine! I'm sorry for your loss (of furniture and socks)

The closest it's come so far is in Sissoko's head.
-
Again you need to see where it came from. Apparently I wasn't allowed to use stats to prove sissoko wasn't all that in goals and assists, but it was ok in another thread to use a totally meaningless stat to prove how amazing MYM is. It's not his strong point, which is what I was saying, glad you agree. He's a one trick pony, just like carroll using his physical presence to bully and unsettle defences. It's good for us, but for a top team it just won't do. You need more to get in the first team and stay there, he hasn't got it. While I can agree that I don't think for instance PSG would be looking at him we'd be absolutely turgid without him considering our manager has absolutely no ideas. Its left to the likes of him to give us something different. I just think losing him for any money right now would be insane. Agreed but where do you stop? whats best for the club is pretty much irrelevant in its current state. Some might argue weakening the playing squad is a good thing. Plenty have said they'd see us go down to see ashley out of pocket or out the club, or even so Charver doesn't get the gig full time. All I know is £20m+ for Sissoko is mental money for a player with two goals and one assist all season, especially a player who thinks it's ok to try and talk himself in to a bigger club at every opportunity.

If he gets his move he'll enjoy the bench before moving on to a club more suitable for his talents. See demba Ba.

He was, but he never settled here, in the league and carries some of the blame. I've said all along its a dumb move, and I'd have him over all of them, but he wasn't the second coming some have him billed as. He didn't play well for big periods, his best run came when he was at CB as you'd expect, but he was still making mistakes and nowhere near as comfortable in the league like he is in Italy where he's got loads more time. He even said so himself. He couldn't cope with the physicality of the league, I'd personally never want to here that from a CB. Given time though he'd have come good, really good, but that ship has sailed now. Btw I said at the time us not signing Douglas really set the wheels in motion as that would have been a perfect partner for him in this league. Cheers JFK. This all came about as sissoko apparently scores and assists, his stats prove otherwise, he's very average and why I picked average players to show that against. I like sissoko, but if wild offers come in it wouldn't take too much to replace him, not like cabaye or even Remy. Those are players will will find hard to attract.
