  1. Carrick on a free and make him captain, exactly what we need. I'd have took Fletcher in the winter window and done the same. We lack intelligence and leadership, as much as I've never really bought in to the carrick hype, even at this age and stage of his career he's lightyears ahead of anything we've got as a midfielder and certainly as captain material. Ings would be a fantastic signing while if Evans came in again he'd be lightyears ahead of anything we've got in his position. Not keen on laudrup, much rather hold out for Mourinho
  2. I don't miss him but I do miss his average championship ability as a manager. Carver isn't good enough to manage a pub team. In fact I wouldn't even let him manage a pub.
  3. Hooray - the voice of reason. Honestly, the utter negativity on this board worries me. Posters wanting us to get relegated? Like the WTF. No deal at all. How is it possible to be this f***ing thick? You want to stay in the PL achieving nothing whatsoever for the next 30 years? We'll lets get relegated then - it will fix all of our problems in a heartbeat. What will fix all our problems in a heartbeat?
  4. I hope carver gets the job full time and takes the club down just to spite Ashley since everything the cunt does with this club is to spite the fans. The only thing he understands is money and the next tv deal will finally see clubs being able to operate without any income from match day or merchandise. If he's still here when that kicks in he will never leave. I'd love to see him miss out on it. I'll never be completly finished with the club, maybe if this place closed down Id lose most of my connection to the club. It wouldn't be a bad thing in all honesty. :'(
  5. Can't help think of Das Boot everytime I hear his name.
  6. Probably get Townsend in the summer if we had any ambition.

    NUFC finances

So where's the £25m gone? loans still at £129m and operating costs up £25m from the year before. Dodgy as fuck, hope he's done for fraud the cunt.
  8. What a bunch of fucking arsholes. You can see how much he's liked by his own team mates
  9. "The Guv'nor" Self-titled, natch. Always wondered why the self title guv'nor always looked like he was about to burst in to tears every time he was in front of a camera.
  10. Damn shame we didn't get him in, exactly what we need. Great leader, bags of experience, free and a decent player as well.
  11. Struggling to think who I'd keep. We will have a clear out of those contracts running out and any decent bid for some of our more thought of players. We will offer minor contracts to the younger ones, if thry reject then they'll leave or be sold if they've got a year left. Who'll come in? Whoever is cheap.

    Steve McClaren

Think he's a twat. But better than anyone we've had since Bobby. Still though I'd want better, however with this lot an actual manager and not a chancer like carver would be greatly accepted right now.

Qpr have 5 winnable games left, one is us. If they win today then it's on for them.

If Burnley can get through the next 3 games and be within 2-3pts of them then they could do it.
  15. He's gained at least 500 new followers today, so not all bad news in the Gazza camp.
  16. That really doesn't have anything to do with this situation. You can maybe aim that at Mbabu, but Streete & Ferguson are from the academy while vuckic was wanted by bigger clubs than us when we signed him and Bigi looked a steal when he first arrived, I think everyone would agree we've badly managed him. everything to do with this club is a shambles, no matter what way you sugar coat it, the fact that we badly manage everything we touch speaks volumes, i'm fed up to the back teeth of this club making me feel a complete fucking embarrasment for supporting it. Sunday league pub teams are ran better than this shower of shit There's no sugar coating here, we all feel the same about this club, however these signings weren't bargain bin signings which was the point you made. If you said that about Obertan, elliot, Williamson, Marveux, Amalfitano, rivière, gouffran etc...I'd agree with you, but as I pointed out above that isn't the case with those on loan at rangers. The 5 loan moves and the circumstances around again are fishy, dodgy, and strange, especially if Bigi is out for the season and they knew that already; but I wasn't arguing against that either.
  17. He's gone full neesy, never go full neesy.
