Shola's nephew Simon Ameobi plays for the U15s anyway so should be ready for his debut in a couple of years
-
So Ashley has lent us a net £15m to cover our relegation, but our debt to him hasn't increased. Also Sports Direct to start to pay for sponsorship. Conclusion: Sports Direct on shirt in lieu of debt
-
So mentioned with the club accounts that Sports Direct will pay the club sponsorship next season. Inevitably paving the way to be our new shirt sponsor

Hey, it's my birthday the day after! What are the chances? About 1 in 365, iirc. 1 in 133,225 isn't it? 1 in 365 for each of their birthdays to fall on any one day and 1 in (365 x 365) for them to be consecutive. No we are talking about the chances that having stated a birthday of X that Ian W has a birthday of X+1. The estimated probability is 1/365 however the exact probability can not be known without knowing the distribution of birthdays amongst the worlds populace.

Why should it be judged on whether the victim was offended? It showed a real bad attitude. Also worth noting that Many of Saville and co's victims tried laughing off at the time.

He is a gonna especially after the whole Adam Johnson debacle, makes Sunderland the home of paedo's, paedo sympathisers and women beaters.

Good innings at 90, is now presumably up there serving tea to a host of other NUFC legends RIP

Just cashed out to be sure, am £400 up for international weekend simply on win accumulators. Only Belgium's ineptitude prevented the grand.
-
just cashed out the £250 I win yesterday
-
If Belgium win make that £750!
-
Internationals went well for once £250 up!

Fuck off with your French League players Graham Carr

On balance I probably agree that we did make some bad recruitment decisions in the summer where we should have been replacing Colback. The standout ones are probably Sels as a first team goalkeeper, signing both Gamez and Lazaar (just one needed), and signing Hanley while retaining Mbemba. I am sure we could have found a better player than Colback had we made better choices. However every club get a few signings wrong and don't know enough of the circumstances of each transfer to point the finger.
-
Perhaps we need a different system at home only as it seems to be working away from home
-
In the absence of transfers I would like to see Barlaser involved a bit more, I think he is good enough to compete on a rotation. Also if Gouffran and Atsu can't do the business then Lazaar should be brought in from the cold.
-
I don't think he is rotating the squad as well as he did earlier in the season. Granted there are injuries but we did seem to thrive on every player being on their toes. The squad is being more static and complacent and it's time to make a change. This is why we needed to invest in January, that could be a £200m+ mistake.
-
What? There's so many things you can excuse Dummett of but he is certainly not lazy. It's like Sissoko and Wijnaldum never existed
-
Unless he gets injured Dummett will play more games than any other left back next season.

Does anyone have any league, promotion, relegation bets looking like coming to fruition? I had a £25k and £100k accumulator, the former has all teams within three points of where they need to be while the latter is mostly like the former although need Forest Green to pull Lincoln in a bit.
-
Other than when Man City and Chelsea were bought by billionaires, I don't think I have ever seen a club buy 5 high quality players in the summer. We will sign two good quality first teamers, one of those a winger, and three or four rotational players
-
He had a clause in his contract. Mistake having the clause then
-
I was going to say this was a bad decision but then noted that they haven't scored a single league goal in 2017 and it's nearly March Therefore something clearly had to change and it has to be the manager. Ultimately I think it was a mistake to let Kante go cheaply, he is easily worth 60-70m as this season has showed.
-
John Carver and Lee Stewart are now connected.
-
Bearing in mind Sammy was put up for media duties yesterday, I think he will start with Gouffran up front. Team will resemble that which beat Birmingham in the cup albeit with added Colback.
-
I highly doubt we were still in for Townsend yesterday as would have impacted their match preparations. He was just being used by the media to drum up attention More likely we bid for two players, off-radar. You never know, maybe bids were accepted and the players chose to stay put or move to a PL club. Anything might have happened so no point in any of us getting in a negative spiral about things that may not be remotely true.
