It's Anelka's younger brother That's what I thought, well I actually thought "who does he look like, hmmmm that's it Anelka" then scrolled down and saw your post. Weren't we linked with an Algerian defender? Doesn't look like Ben Arfa Prefer my defenders to be taller than 5ft 5". (unless Skirge is on a ladder in that pic) Guessing from the tree, he is stood in a ditch. Calm down Dave I'm not being serious

  5. We always think we are on the up this time of year. As Sir Bobby said, don't look at the league table until November.

Thought Bassong was much worse than Bramble to be honest.

You're meant to disguise the URL, dipshit. I know, I thought if I made it as obvious as possible, who would click!

The agents name is Richard Rollando. There is a picture of him here: www.smouch.net/lol/

Consider the cost of everyone else in the dressing room wanting parity with his wages / relative payrise. Exactly. Not to mention the fact that the term 'proven prem quality' isn't applicable here. He’s more proven at PL level than Coloccini and he’s our top earner isn’t he? Taylor's had 5 pretty poor seasons in my book. Makes him no more proven that someone with 1 'bad' season. Name me a newcastle CB that's had a decent season in the premiership last 5 years..... Because if your theory is correct, it'll be none Faye was decent.

Will send Marley to Germany equipped with a dressing gown, a chicken breast and a fishing rod.

Sorry for my english. It's not the same player, ben arfa is much better. He can be the future idol at newcastle No offence mate, and thanks for posting, but I don't think anyone outside of Newcastle realised how good Laurent Robert was.

Agree entirely. Squad needs strengthening, but we shouldn't be chopping sections to force new signings into the team. They are going to have to force their own way in on merit (or someone elses shitness)

You think Routledge has offered more than Jonas? Think he might have missed Sunday's match Saw it eventually. They have been about as bad as each other, but Jonas has been too deep and unintelligent with his running.

Our weakest player this season so far has probably been Jonas so I'd move him onto the bench. Thing is, I think Hughton will stick with the current midfield, but knows they aren't up for playing at their best for 90 minutes over a season. Would expect plenty of rotation with Tiote starting over 50% of games on the bench, and Ben Arfa covering the three offensive midfield positions in our current system, sometimes from the start, sometimes from the bench

Good. Last thing we ought to be doing is trying to close down revenue streams for the club. How much money do you see this bringing in? No idea. Have a guess. Why? I haven't got a clue what this kind of advertising might be worth to the right company. Obviously the club thinks it's enough to be worth the bother. As long as we're still making a loss, whatever comes in, is good. It is going to be Sports Direct based on what is included in the application. Therefore sponsorship won't get sold to anyone. Nah, that'll just be a placeholder. They're obviously hoping to sell the space. I look at these applications every day, and this is for a fixed design. Show us (or quote us or whatever) the bit that says that. I can see why planning permission is needed to erect a billboard. I'd need some convincing that every design it was used to display required a further, separate permission. It is in the application form. They are applying for red and blue letters on a white background for each one. The pictorial one would have to be agreed with the council as a planning condition. You know Argos changed all their signs recently for a modern design? These all had to have new planning permissions and were verysimilar to the planning application we see here.

OK, I've had a look at the application documents, and given what they are asking for, no group with planning powers will have grounds to object. The onus is on local residents voicing an opposition that will have to be considered at the Planning Committee. If you live in Newcastle, phone up case officer Matthew Storey on 0191 2115654 and find out when the committee meeting is and when responses need to be sent in. Then pass on to NUSC. This is something they should be sorting. I would advise that any comments that come in should focus more on the area's heritage and beauty rather than from a footballing perspective. I would also strongly discourage any non-locals or non-ST holders from making comments, strong LOCAL opposition will have stronger resonance with the councillors. If someone has a good reason why these signs should not be permitted let everyone else know so it can be included in responses. Just bear in mind that a final decision would likely be made by the planning inspectorate who are objective, non-local and would therefore need a rational policy based reason for objection. However despite all this my professional opinion is that we won't be able to prevent planning permission being granted.

I deal with these type of planning applications every day from a road safety perspective, but I've picked up other stuff by learning from the outcomes. I'll have a close look, see if I can see anything.
  22. Unsavable powerful long ranger placed perfectly into top corner and looked effortless.
