  1. I bet money on Roeder, I'm about as ITK as Harry Norway. Aye but when did you put money on it? Jol put money on when the odds were about 50/1. Plus he did mention the application for special dispensation before we heard about it. That is not to say that he is getting this info himself, but he does have access to Spurs forums that can provide ITK info that can occassionally be slightly interesting.
  2. Decky, comparisons with James and Given aren't possible, as James has always had the complete package but the mental side of his game was lacking and he has improved this with age, and by avoiding serious injury his career has been able to go on and on and get better as he has matured. Meanwhile, Given's game has always been fairly limited, and injury problems have affected those abilities he had which were previously considered strengths. As such, as I said in my original post if Andujar is potentially better, and affordable, he is worth it, as you can't really say no to improving any player in the team.
  3. Rather ironic as it's being said it's Newcastle who have bid £6.3m whilst Spartak want closer to £16m. As I know there's a couple here who are members, here's the link................. http://coys.sportsmaestros.com/index.php?showtopic=104087 Have you ever been right with your ITK-bollocks ever? I can't believe that you just don't give it up, tbh, surely no one believes what this joker says? I've been right often. I'm not saying Newcastle are in for Pavlyuchenko, someone else is. The suggestion is that the agent has told us to try to create a bidding war, don't know if it's true. You can take it or leave it. You have never said anything right ITK wise on here Christ what a Current. Quite a few bits and pieces a few years ago tbf. Fancy pointing any of them out then? Because he's never been able to himself, so you'd be helping us all out. Newcastle related, Roeder and Duff.

  5. Dissa-Speared Aaron goes AWOL after argument with Joey Barton
  6. £16m is a waste of £13m in my opinion.
  7. Although he was one of the best players at Euro 2008, he'd flop massively over here.
  8. Interesting stuff about Spear...
  9. I've said this before, the bio of the guy who writes NUFC Blog is such a contrast to the content of the rest of the website. I think he genuinely believes what he writes, only he is the most gullible Newcastle fan out there.
  10. Martins would make a terrible left winger.
  11. AFAIK, if this source is the one I'm thinking of, for every correct ITK, there have been 2 incorrect.
  12. Just one question. How do you coach a scout? No Gary Glitter quotes please. Its a serious question. They are mostly ex-pros so know the game better than we do. Many start out freelance, so they have to prove themselves with helpful player reports.
  13. Can anyone clarify Keegan's no South Americans comment, in particular when it was uttered in relation to the legendary boardroom summons?
  14. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clarin.com%2Fdiario%2F2008%2F07%2F02%2Fum%2Fm-01706884.htm&hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=es&tl=en Would be £1.5m
  15. Andujar Beye Faye Coloccini Enrique Gutierrez Inler Aurelio Reyes Owen Derdiyok Manager: Senor Keego
  16. To be honest, Given has probably gone as far as he can go. If we think we can get someone better without breaking the bank, I'm all for it.
  17. Wasn't Vetere supposed to have spent a few weeks in South America recently?
  18. That was my initial response after seeing what he did with my own eyes, but now I think I just won't applaud him.
  19. Sorry, but I do feel that this is a historic moment for football that clubs are starting to use this method to recruit players. For instance, Gerrard and Carragher can leave Liverpool for £12m next summer. Would have been double that for Gerrard previously. Anorak. And proud of it.
  20. You know that the only bits of him in the Argy video are the cross, him giving away a free kick, and him kissing the goalscorer? All the good bits were other players and he wasn't involved at all in those particular sequences.

  22. "errr chris, could you pop back up north for a week or two" The deal wouldn't look so good if those become the numbers we have to start thinking about. Sure we must have checked all avenues first mind. I'm sure there were teams that tried challenging the Bosman ruling when other players tried taking advantage of it. Fact is, Mallorca don't have a leg to stand on, I doubt they have been following the nuances of the Webster case, and as a consequence have probably been caught by suprise, hence the compo claim. Wouldn't you be pissed off if you could have sold a player for £7m in January, only for him to piss of somewhere else for £2m in July? I sympathise with Mallorca, but I think NUFC have had this one worked out good and proper, and as a consequence, the inflated transfer market is verging on collapse.
