The facts are that we can score goals for fun and we rarely concede: however you arrive at that situation--total football or counter-attacking blitzes--that is how you win games. People continually saying we're lucky are missing the point: aye, sometimes we get dominated for spells, but we can allow that as we're sorted at both ends where it actually counts. We rode our luck a bit today on the not conceding score mind. Fair enough. Haven't seen the game today, was talking about our success in general.

Just in from work, haven't seen anything, don't give a fuck about the performance. To get results at Stoke and again here against Everton in the space of a week and continue our unbeaten run is absolutely brilliant. We don't concede many and we score: that is why we're winning games.

Who has been tested? It's not like Man City have been playing top sides week in week out. What have they had? Bolton, Blackburn, Birmingham, Wigan... Swansea(?) loads of tosh.

Arsenal were never "found out". The quality of their players declined and they became more vulnerable. Most teams are too overwhelmed at the Brittania to try and play football. The top sides have enough quality that they can enforce their style of play on anyone. It is a credit to the legitimate quality in the side that we can accomplish this. I'm going to print out a copy of this league table and post this on my wall, btw. Brilliant. Above Arsenal and Chelsea?! Pressure's off now, imo. We've overachieved, but let's enjoy it. We've got points in the games that matter. Anything from the other matches is a bonus, but we should go into them with confidence: why not?

Was never a red, tbf. Could well have been. You saw how easily he gave those two pens. It was a bloody terrible tackle.

Also, Perch could definitely have seen red for that foul. Would've been blinding to have been a man down after about 5 seconds of him coming on.
