FWIW, I also like ludicrously hard volleys, so obviously Shearer's but, also, unfortunately, focussing purely on the goal, Rooney's volley against us. Nearly took the net off.

I've always liked goals scored with the outside of the boot, so Nedved's against Ajax, or even Nobby's against Everton (I think).

Anyway. My favourite memory of Emre was at Pompey when he just ran up, stuck the ball down and took the pen while everyone else was stood around.

One thing I don't get is that during his first few games he looked strong as an ox--you couldn't get the ball off him--yet in his last few games he fell over and whined whenever anyone got close to him.
