  1. I'd take the reported Kieron Dyer wage with a pinch of salt an aal.

I have a feeling this fella's gonna turn out to be shit. It's been too easy. If improving our defence was this simple we'd have done it ages ago.
  3. This is a weird list.
  4. I prefer my own commentary to the Feyenoord goal: 'Come on. Come on! COME ON! Shooot! Oh, you fu--cross! Cro... fuck! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Beer bloody everywhere.
  5. And you know it hasn't how? Because then it'd be obvious. That's what 'under the spotlight' means.
  6. Anyone taking bets on when he'll get his first face-lift?
  7. It's nice to see an English club employing a sensible pricing policy. Aye, we sell out league matches no bother, but League cup, early FA Cup rounds, and UEFA Cup attendances have been shite. Let's get some cheaper kids tickets for those and try to fill the ground.
  8. They weren't real laps. They were 'mind laps'.
  9. Fuck off, Graeme, you twat.

    Transfer window

Robson would've got us relegated. FACT.
  11. We wouldn't be paying £300k, City would. 'One means of breaking the impasse might be if Newcastle paid the £300,000 but they are already committed to paying Barton £16m over five years, having agreed to triple the players City salary.' Sorry I didn't read the full article Slacker!
  12. Are you saying Uri Geller's talking rubbish? Watch it!
  13. Honestly, who gives a toss? We need bother like this like we need a hole in the head. Tell the twat to fuck off and enjoy his glorious career at the Hammers. He's a good player for the price, but his baggage could be costly in the long-run.
  14. Ramage is worse than a O'Brien/Bramble/Dabizas fusion.

  16. Bellamy threads are aweomse. You can guarantee they'll always run to about 30 pages and be full of shit.
  17. I'd rather we dropped the deal than be forced into paying 300k to that twat. we've been saying for years now that the character of the player is just as important as what he does on the pitch. Was that just hot air?
  18. S'alright, Big Sam has a fella who does car insurance for the players, no doubt.
  19. but they weren't even considered good when we got them, solano was but the rest weren't What? So we deliberately bought bad players? I assume SBR thought they were good players. no we bought players that weren't even the best of the bunch when we looked at them, only Gavilan had a decent reputation. and SBR thought many players were good players but he was no kingpin in the transfer market. Well, that further reinforces the point we need top quality scouts to advise the manager. If SBR can fuck up, then Allardyce certainly can too.
  20. So I guess getting the likes of Messi and Kaka to come here before they go to Italy and/or Spain holds no appeal? The fault's more with us for going for pap. There are obviously good players, but in the past we've seemed to have suffered from buying a foreign player and expecting him to deliver because he's Argentinian. I'm not sure we have the scouts to really make confortable, safe moves in the S. American market at the minute. I wouldn't trust Lee bloody Clark's opinion for starters. Have to travelled in time from three months ago? Things, I hope, will be different now. Maybe not immediately but certainly in time. I'm sure the scouting network won't comprise of Lee Clark and chums, anyway. In the future, maybe, but right now, no. I'm not that convinced that Big Sam has an army of scouts working over in Argentina. In fact, I'm sure he hasn't. "I have an army of scouts working over in Argentina." - Sam Allardyce Piss.

  22. I thought we'd stopped looking to buy quick fixes? I thought we were starting to rebuild the club from the ground up? How can any manager do anything constructive with this club if he's expected to finish top 4 instantly or whatever?
