  1. Could echo all of that. A genius of a footballer.
  2. It was 11 actually, with Cattermole,as always, just kicking anything that moves. Absolute unashamed tripe. Cattermole has been far more disciplined under O'Neill and was superb last Sunday. Read any newspaper report of the game and they'll agree. As for our tactics, MO'N got them spot on. Men behind the ball when defending, then look to counterattack with speed. We had the best chances of the game if anything (Bendtner 1st half, Sessegnon and Ji in the 2nd). Man City had masses of possession, but we restricted them to low percentage shots from the edge of the box. Very rarely did they cut through us. It should also be said our team (defence) was completely patched up (two midfielders at full back and the cryogenically frozen for 18 months Matt Kilgallon playing the majority of the game). As for the offside goal (Ji), well, I think we deserved a little bit of luck after the shocking penalty awarded against us vs Everton. Sorry but you're just another macum coming on here with a nauseating superior attitude. Your club captain is no more than a thug and a criminal to boot. That your new manager turns a blind eye to his behaviour and even praises him is frankly disgraceful.

  4. Loved this bit in the .com report "In the press box reporting for a Belgian broadcaster was Philippe Albert, who tried unsuccessfully to control himself when Cabaye's free kick went in - leaping to his feet and punching the air before remembering where he was"
  5. "I don't bother wasting my time watching geordie progagandavision" :2funny: :mackems:
  6. Whilst that's true, you can't discount the fact that if a big club did come in for him the player himself would probably want to go. He seems like a decent, honest bloke but the lure of Champions League football, challenging for trophies and bigger wages will always take players away, irrespective of the fee. So true, but fortunately I think the number of clubs in that bracket, i.e. more attractive than ourselves, is getting smaller thereby narrowing the chances of it happening. That said if I were in charge of one of those clubs I'd fancy him because I can't see many better than him right now.
  7. Nice try but it could only have been in your mind. Strange reply As I now realise - fortunately I must have missed the twitter crap. Pretty ludicrous to think a rookie second choice keeper signing his first real contract could have such a clause inserted. Now he's much less rookie and first choice may make it a possibility in the next contract.

    Alan Pardew

Gets a lot of praise here http://www.zonalmarking.net/2012/01/05/newcastle-united-tactics/
  10. This must be a joke? MON is nothing but an Irish KK...oh, I see Same bracket as Owen Coyle and Tony Pulis. Jumpy Jacks.
  11. Scummy club. Very scummy fans. Got the perfect club captain.
  12. Good read. Ringing endorsments for Tiote,Williamson and surprisingly Shola. Shola's are hardly a ringing endorsment, like. OK, but still a lot more analytical praise than he ever gets around this place. Ameobi was paired up against Phil Jones and used his experience and extra height to his advantage. Jones couldn’t compete with Ameobi in the air and lost all but one of his five aerial duels with the Newcastle striker – including the aerial challenge that led to the first goal for Demba Ba

  14. Has he been arrested more times than he's scored at scumderland ? Needs 1 more arrest to catch up according to wiki. However would it be correct to say that Bramble has more sex offence charges pending than he has goals in his scumderland career ?
  15. Probably the longest range I've seen. Almost defied physics.
  16. Thugs barred from pubs, car vandals, pizza thiefs, hotel fighters, serial sex pests, wouldn't it save a lot of time if they just incorporated a law court into the stadium of shite ?
  17. Having a bit more red on our shirt may help us to get a few favourable refereeing decisions ??
  18. Tombola ;D What a scummy sponsor.
  19. Considering we remain the team that brings in the second highest TV viewing figures we must be pretty good value for money.
  20. So, I suspect hardly any Blackburn fans will make the trip up to St. James' then. You mean like the same as when they weren't being urged to boycott and watch Chorley.
  21. i agree, but i didnt want to have a go, so soon after a victorious night. Shola being poop is just an optical illusion.
  22. I thought the NR deal was around the £2m-£2.5m/season mark? £8m/season is decent, isn't it? Presumably we have to hit certain targets (Top 10 finish/Euro qualification/x number of TV games/etc) but it's a helluva jump from the old deal. What was the biggest sponsorship deal (under FFS during our Champs League run)? Greedy cockney bastards, £20M just for letting someone stick their logo on our shirt for 2 years when people up north are dying of starvation. Bordering on immoral.
  23. Considerably, nay infinitely less said about this particular Ferdinand challenge compared to the one at OT which seemed to captivate the entire planet for a whole weekend.
