  1. That's all you have to do to appease the masses down there. Works every time The Don and posh boy have played them like a fiddle.
  2. A few on RTG saying this is why he's suddenly gone quiet. Who'd have thought it with them two in charge
  3. Well Sky TV for one desperately needed a Liverpool win last night in order to achieve the mega hype for the last day of the season ...............
  4. Last night again showed why Liverpool are probably the most disliked team team in England from the point of view of other club's match attending fans. They have regularly behaved like scum for decades, consistently caused trouble wherever they go and yet get away with it time and again as the media continues to perpetuate the "cheeky scouse/club everyone loves" myth like they're frightened to tell the truth about them.
  5. It's so transparent, and realising that us being done by referees so consistently is not just some irrational fan bias but is borne out by hard statistics and facts, makes you wonder if one day the real truth will come out and a massive corruption stink will be discovered ?
  6. .........and didn't they also use the River Tyne Millenium Bridge iirc ?
  7. Of course Durham should be represented on the flag as a large section of our support has always come from the county. However if putting the cathedral on it was done just to wind up the mackems then it's succeeded spectacularly
  8. Consecutive league defeats to Fleetwood Town and Southend and just ended the season in the lowest ever position in their history, but it seems to be Rafa and the fact that a lot of people from County Durham support Newcastle that has them feyuminn the most
  9. Oh how they celebrated when they scored a last minute winner to help their fiercest rivals win the league, and deny one of their former legends winning it with us.
  10. So you're telling me Burton Albion sent them down to the third division and Fleetwood Town stopped them getting promoted out of it ? Mackems man
  11. TBH that's cracking value compared to what they'll be paying Cattermole and a few others for a while yet
  12. They're fucked either way iyam. Maybe, but you're over estimating the championship imo. Look at Blackburn this season. Comfortable mid table after promotion. Although they're little more than average third division in playing quality, so would really struggle in the second division with what they've got, it was financially I meant. Cattermole and co will continue to drain whatever level of income they have and it's becoming obvious that the pair of bluffers running the club are not going to put their hands in their pockets. Ellis Short for all his faults was prepared to spend money and keep them going.
  13. Some of their geriatric wannabe hoolies post regular threads glorying in their escapades which are bound to attract the attention of other club's nutters and then when said nutters inevitably respond they act all surprised and full of moral indignation? ?
  14. They're fucked either way iyam.
  15. Nissan employs around about 20,000 people in the North East, plus many more through the supply chain. They are the regions biggest private sector employer. They employ more people in the North East then we had miners when they were closed. That vast majority of these people are in skilled jobs and get paid accordingly. When Brexit hits and they leave it will be disaster for the North East, quite possibly the straw that broke the camels back. A lot of people are going to have their lives turned upside down from it. It’s not just going to be racist mackems who are hit by it, but people all across the region. 6.57 crew would wipe the fucking floor with reiver and all his old bouncer mates the stupid old cunt that he is You reap what you sow in Sunderland will they be his words when Nissan fucks off because of the brexiteers and everyone ends up on the dole Nissan employs around about 20,000 people in the North East, plus many more through the supply chain. They are the regions biggest private sector employer. They employ more people in the North East then we had miners when they were closed. That vast majority of these people are in skilled jobs and get paid accordingly. And the town where the plant is located still voted resoundingly for Brexit...... staggering and tragic at the same time.
  16. Maja still their top scorer. That was a brilliant piece of business from the Don
  17. Salah's dive for the penalty down there still pisses me off. No one likes a cheat and it's even worse when the person cheating is supremely gifted anyway. Would love a result against them, and did fancy it, but without Ayoze and Almiron it's now very unlikely.
  18. They'll be fine for automatic promotion when they win all their games in hand. Won't they ?
  19. Ashley approves! Think they might do okay. They're like the German version of Wolves. German coach, about eight German players. Would bank on them spending that 20 million on a couple more Germans. Or maybe the Norfolk version of Huddersfield
  20. Not a chance in hell a top 6 club would touch him here or in Spain. When he has done it consistently over a full season or two then he may get that move but until then no chance. He'd fit Simeone's style of play at Atletico but that might be a bit too big of a step up for him. If the last three to six months have shown anything, it's that Ayoze stands out and looks a much better player when playing alongside quality. He'd step into a top six club effortlessly. I'm not the biggest fan of raw stats but just take a look at his important goals and assists, and then look at how his important tackles and interceptions compare to similar players in top six clubs, then try and put a price on buying someone who is performing at a similar level.
  21. Sorry mate, the usual suspects have decreed he's a waste of money. Not only that but they've repeated it frequently on social media, so it's a fact. Also by applying the same logic, it's now a well established fact on Wearyside that Simon Grayson and Jack Dross are better coaches than Rafa Benitez.
  22. That foul looks worse each time I see it. No attempt whatsoever to move back towards the ball, his only intention is to take Almiron out. If not a goalscoring opportunity, which it clearly was, it's serious foul play anyway. Just the latest in a long list of curious decisions against Newcastle.
  23. They are so deluded by this big club mentality, they need another season down there for the penny to drop imho. b..b...bu..bu...but our fans, everyone's cup final, tin pot league........
