Aye. If villa are interested it could definitely be goading them into action.

31m bid incoming?
-
Gun to my head, I'd rather we spent 35m on Gordon than McTominay. 65 spent on both though... ..Living the dream.
-
30-35 rising to 40m is what I would expect. Don't think he is worth that but it is indicative of the Chelsea dictated market. There is definitely zero reason we should be willing to offer more than last time we enquired. His stock has fallen if anything. I expect we will send feelers out to say the offer still stands, just a few million less. Take it or leave it.
-
His quote at the weekend after Palace about having nothing new to report on, to his knowledge, because he had been preparing for the game also means he is expecting something could be imminent. Good news. Straws in vice grip mode.

Can't see it being anyone other than Dyche coming in at Everton. No coincidence he was at their game watching.
-
I think we will get one first team starter in. Maybe a youth or two as well.
-
Biesla would be a great shot in the arm IF the players reacted. Could also be a complete disaster. Like rafa he would work the bullocks off the players. Dyche on an interim probably makes the most sense.

Feel dirty cheering for arsenal.
-
They will when Chelsea slap in a 100m offer next week. As for the rest of you piping off about the likes of Thuram and maddison.. you'll get McTominay and Gordon and you will be grateful.

I don't see him as a work rate guy, that said if Howe brought that out of him he would be an animal. Any games I watched of him in France, especially early on, he was pretty anonymous and kind of ambled around. Didnt help his team mates didnt pass to him for the first few months. He is pretty clinical with the right service though. Don't think he comes cheap enough to be high needs for us this window.
-
Don't think so. He is the perfect Wilson replacement and technically can play false 9 or AM but I don't think that is a priority or ready made fit for where we are right now.
-
Not the end of the world but points were there for the taking. We still aren't clinical enough. We need more training focus and bringing in 1 or 2 more players with that quality.
-
Wonder what Everton fans thoughts are? Well tbf I don't care but are they acceptant of their plight or will they whine and hound dyche out from the start?
-
Think we have to take what we can get with some of the dross in our squad. Sure this will be like the Wood move with at least option to buy.

https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-transfer-karl-darlow-8059173 Not sure it adds much but reckon this is a goer.

Watford did just sign another striker though.
-
I simply don't see how Everton can sell for less than the 50m they turned down a few months ago. To compound that, I don't see how we could justify spending 50m on him. Not least when we are being so calculated in the market. Just seems like a non starter and easy link for the press to make. He has been liking Instagram posts saying he is going to newcastle though apparently lol

Mulligan.

Happy if he stays until the summer, happier if he is replaced. Got zero complaints about Shelvey under Howe, unfortunate fitness aside. Certainly others I would shift first but freeing up the wages and getting more for him now than the summer is probably enticing. Would prefer Ritchie, Lewis, Fraser, dummett and darlow move first.
-
Likewise hope Wood returns in the summer rather than us signing Osimhen. Get some PL proven up the team.
-
This thread will be hilarious in a year if we actually signed him. For now I think the thread jinx will work.

Bloody Anglians always trying to reform and split from the norm to push their own agenda. Typical.
