I like the positivity. We are playing some neat build up and passes but it's all good intentions and zero end product so far. Hopefully it comes soon. It's building. -

Zero connectivity where it counts in the box. We desperately need a couple of additions up there if Wilson is done for the season. Arguably if wilson is done we might need 3. Unlucky from Murhpy there. -

I like watching this game because I feel like we have a chance at winning. -

All time and reality goes into slow motion watching Ritchie on the ball. It's like hearing a vinyl player shut down. -

On this display 2 strikers and a DM seem more important that CB's tbh. -

Maxi wants it. -
With Hayden now out for 10 weeks there is no way we don't get a DM this window. Also makes me wonder if it's worth registering him!
-
Maybe in a subscriber list from his website or something? Certainly no tweets about it on his Twitter. Unless he posted and deleted.
-
Trying to get Andrea Belotti to join him too. Also seems to have legs and a be a possibility! Might bring Giovinco back too.
-
Not sure if he is behind or ahead of the curve!
-
Gianluca Di Marzio apparently, although I can't see him posting it
-
The only way we get gini is if he has some type of sentimental connection about returning. It's a loan so it's not a long term move. In his position what's more attractive. Maybe he isn't guaranteed a starting spot at Arsenal if he goes there but the situation is likely to be more attractive than another relegation scrap. He certainly would here. Hope he thinks he has unfinished business here!
-
He played all over for Liverpool but also alot as a 6 and very well. All the liverpool fans I know love him. Other than the DM spuriously linked like Kamara I think he would be an immense player to return. He is picking arsenal everytime though, especially if it's just a loan.

Lille are generally good with this shit. They won't get less than they want. Just hope we pay it or move elsewhere. If we manage to get Carlos in, maybe we can posture a bit and wait a week or so more to see if Lille blink. We really have to get him and any new players in and start acclimatizing them, especially those that would be new to the league.
-
Pretty insane we could potentially have an entirely new back four in a couple of weeks. Also a huge gamble, especially when at least half of the back four hasn't played in in PL before. We have to hit the ground running and pick up wins. Not much time to bed people in.
-
Much rather have gini back than Ramsey.
-
Can see us looking for and willing to shell out for a younger star alongside also signing an experienced stirker to help bed him in. Seems like we are doing a bit of both this window. Players like botman could be with us for near a decade. Getting an Aubrmeyeng or proven in the league striker to ease the pressure could definitely happen imo.
-
Sure its already been mentioned but short term end to the season? Probably not worth the sign on money at this stage in his career.
-
Giggsy? https://romapress.net/sven-botmans-agent-confirms-roma-interest/ calciomercato.it playing games again. Quotes from Botman's agent though, seems the same as AC Milan. Too expensive and we have the advantage.

Cant see Origi being available, certainly not for 7m. Complete no brainer if he was. Looking who reported it for the Telegraph tells me it is BS. Striker links seem a complete crap shoot so far. No idea who we are actually interested in. Agree with @TRon Aubameyeng will be on the cards late in the window if we are still looking and have got one Striker in already. Can see the same being the case with Digne and Ramsey. Priority has to be the CB, DM and Striker over the next week or so and then see where we are at. Cantwell is a bit like Ramsey for me. Both have risk and both not especially what we need to prioritise. Great if we get a proper animal DM as well. Something tells me Cantwell as a young English player would do well under Howe but we didn't see much improvement from Longstaff, Hayden got dropped and Willock seems to have gone backwards so far. We need to stay clear of any risky signings imo. We can't afford to go down. (well actually I guess we can, I would just rather we didn't). Botman and Carlos would be jaw dropping. I know they both play generally as the LCB but Carlos is definitely right footed so they could play together or in a back three. Maybe we are looking to a back three with Trippier and a new LWB to negate the need of buying a DM this window. Still would rather we buy a DM.
-
So we haven't even made a second bid yet because they never rejected the first?
-
Clearly the Italian media just saving face for AC Milan that Botty boy would rather move to the Championship than Serie A. Hope the telegraph info is true. If it is I see him coming just after the weekend. Lots of noise that sounds more like Digne and we aren't his first choice too.

He did say he was looking forward to the game in his interview, which I thought hinted to involvement. Didn't sound like it was from a watching the game point of view!
