If paqueta or another high quality target in cm/am isn't going to work for us this window I would gladly take Gini back on loan for the year to fill a gap and let us save and spend big on a long term game changer next year. If a gini loan meant spending more to get diaby and a better striker. Yes everyday. Gini can fill multiple roles well and would be fantastic imo.

This guy is an absolute destroyer. A tank of a player. Just mindblowing in comparison to where people were talking about him this time last year. Granted the opposition wasn't great today but Jo was another level and then some today. First touch does let him down still but seems to be in the best shape and has recovery pace to catch the ball after the mis control or win it back.

I'd definitely be more concerned at us having to overpay for Harrison than him being a solid signing. He would be a solid addition but not for anything more than 25-30m

If we are moving down the list I would rather we go for Hudson-Odoi. Think we could get him on loan too. Versatile enough to cover a few different positions. Harrison isn't bad at all but predominantly a LW. Would love Jones to be right about Fofana, would be a fantastic addition. Traore from Metz seems one for the future.

A young RCB to compliment Botman is certainly on the list but also most certainly far below a RW, AM, DM and at least one striker. I think Tanganga would be a neat addition given his age/potential and prem experience. However its also not beyond the realms of possibility it's more Italian press hype of a player AC Milan are getting and getting to one up us on a transfer by putting our name alongside it.

Wouldn't rule out Asensio either. Enough noise from people that we have made contact with his agent to confirm he is a target, whether he us high up the list or interested, who knows. Potential for a loan to buy there I think. We could be thinking of him through the middle though, not just out wide.

From the start people were saying we would be looking at a couple of loan options this summer. Likely there are still some great loan to buy options out there if we spend on Isak. Hudson-Odoi would be one ther springs to mind. Probably likewise for another CM/AM.

Think we would quickly shift the next level of squad players out. Don't believe for a second we would be done at just isak. Could be a case of waiting until deadline day though.

Isak over DLC, Broja, Hugo etc.. Would be an immense capture. Although DLC and Broja we know work in the PL at least. Isak is very much in the same territory being overpriced so its probably an unlikely one.

Pretty confident we will sign a mid, winger and forward. No idea who we end up with though. I'd be pretty much happy with most linked. If we lose Paqueta to Arsenal we might end up with Tielmans. It's possible they see Asensio playing through the middle not out wide too. There are plenty of other names we have been linked to and probably more on our list that aren't public. Upfront the Broja links are strong but if we have the money and budget space I'm sure they will pull the trigger on a DCL or a bigger striker with higher potential, if the deal is right. Most would be happy with gabigol, who seems to be pleading for us to get him. We are obviously thinking better. CHO would be a savvy addition on loan to buy. If we get 3 more players of the quality of those brought in we are well on the way, regardless of who they are. The biggest luxury to look forward to is that adding key pieces to improve the squad will be an every window thing going forward. Likely not in huge numbers but a couple of players most windows of high quality and potential will likely always be coming through. Enjoy the ride and every rumour!

Good luck to him! Even long after he should have been sold he put in some useful performances for us. Solid pro, never complained and always wore his heart on his sleeve.

Not sure if these are just reports of an old bid but a few people have started tweeting it. I would be surprised if it was true, except to say..If Arsenal are trying to jump ahead of us it might have forced our hand. Thought this would be a last minute one if at all.

Still not convinced there is much in the chatter but getting Asensio might not rule out Diaby/CHO/Gordon. Possible Howe fancies using him through the middle, not just out wide. Thought we might apply to move up a few divisions but looks like a slow build on this front. Great news on the reserves though. With such a young squad maybe there will be some incomings with some of the younger players being the core of the reserves.
