The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham

Levy should be getting absolute pelters from supporters, press press pundits. If anyone needs to go it's him. Absolute debacle and laughable sacking nuno so soon if true. Doubt he gets anything but praise for being proactive and protecting elite sacred club spurs. -
Absolutley. He was a WUM of the highest order throughout the takeover and sticking up for Bruce. Printing shit like terry and lampard is done with the full knowledge most fans that gave him pelters would bite and hate the prospect of either being mentioned.

Ideally announced Thursday. Meets some of the players and give input to Jones who takes the Brighton game with the new manager in the stands. Sounds like we are narrowed down. Whomever is on the final shortlist will be working and planning assuming they get the call to jump in right away. In terms of indecision of faffing around announcing this, the picture might become clearer when the manager is appointed or maybe we will never know. There are simply too many variables to give the new ownership grief or get knickers in a twist. Might be waiting for managers on the "A list" who are interested and obviously better than others, reliant on the DoF they want or a litany of other variables that comes taking over a club that has been mismanaged in almost every area. Either way next weekend is cut off point. We have reached end game, I am sure of that. This weekend always was. We can all hopefully stop shitting the bed and back whomever they appoint to get us through this season.

Interim always seemed like the best choice. Just as hard finding the right and willing person for that too. It's not as simple as hiring someone. Especially when they have everything else to get in order at the club. DoF is the most important position to finalize, then their choice of manager. If that means an interim manager is needed to allow them more time for that then it's the way to go. Despite press flapping, I doubt the new owners are lacking for interested candidates. Anyone will fancy picking up a few points before January where they know they will potentially have a huge spending scope to improve and the project of a lifetime after. If we don't have anyone in place during the international break I will be disappointed. Not panicked at all yet though. Taking time is only a good thing.

We are nearly all impatient fickle fucks. Our very nature, especially coming on here is to pick things apart and Ashley conditioning always drags us to the negatives. Rafa - will it work a second time, it will taint his memories? Too pragmatic Conte - he is a finisher for top teams and can he cope in a relegation scrap? Favre - defensive questions, he is dull and uninspiring, will ASM stay? ten Hag - only managed in Holland Fonseca - dodgy defensive teams Gerrard - not convinced and he will only leave us for liverpool or England. Etc.. I doubt there is an appointment that won't bring concerns. The biggest one is just making sure we make aa decision and hire one this week. The sooner someone comes in the sooner we can calm down down get behind them regardless of who it is.

Insane nuno is reportedly on the chopping block. Unless they think they can steal ten Hag or get Conte another change this soon is madness. He hasn't had a chance and more than that hasn't done that badly lol. They might be hearing whispers of people open to the Newcastle job and fancy a chance of persuading them to come to spurs. Still if this is the way they treat managers good luck with that. -
Shit news. Hopefully he can find a donor, it takes and he can get better. Sending good vibes and thoughts his way.

I'm going to go full Britney fan. Leave miggy ALONE. He is a prince though and I won't have a bad word said about him. I've watched him since he joined MLS and can tell you we haven't even scratched the surface with him. A decent coach and better players and Miggy will be a completely different player. The poor sod has been shoehorned everywhere but his best position on a consistent basis. As far as keeping players in this team, he is top 5 for me every day of of week.
-
Head isn't there. We know he can be a solid player, hopefully the new manager gets that out of him. We have needed him to step up but he hasn't this season imo.
-
Darlow Clark Ritchie Murphy Shelvey Gayle All players that were going to be shipped out under rafa. Barring Gayle, all have played a significant role for us since. Add in a mixed bag of purchases, some absolutely atrocious ones and letting Lejeune go, the dismantling of the longstaffs. It is no wonder we are so shite. We do have enough to stay up under decent manager but attracting the right character and player willing to come to a relegation fight in January will be difficult.
-
He isn't match fit enough according to Jones yesterday. Hinted Brighton game will be too soon for him also.
-
I didn't like the set up. ASM is better on the bench if we were set up like that. Almiron or even joelinton would have offered more. Senior players like Lascelles making stupid boneless fouls unnecessary. Wilson was poor but isolated. Ritchie a mess. Clarke shouldn't be playing. A non existent CM, almost like we have needed to address that the past 5 windows. New manager that isn't martinez can't come quick enough to implement new ideas and energy.
-
Well that was painful. Painful. If we stuck to the first half plan we might have grinded out a point. Whomever comes in has a fucking massive job on their hands. Favre suddenly seems the logical choice.
-
Plenty. We just can't register them to play until January when we can buy/loan better.
-
So..it's a no to Jones getting the job then? Let's hope it's not martinez. Nothing will fucking change.
-
Upset the ante on who they hire tbh. Unless it's someone impressive, good luck trying to persuade players that will actually be useful to come here when we are looking like going down. Not one of those names linked will be coming if we are cut adrift by January.
-
SHOT ON FUCKING TARGET!!
-
He already basically said they would assess dubs after the international break. He needs to be in next week no doubt, match fit or not.
-
Oh good shelvey on.
-
We have absolutely gone here.
-
Calamity falling and slipping. Can see this going 4 or 5 tbh.
-
FFS he just has the keys to the kingdom.no one is ever near him

Zero urgency here.
