Really? Shock. The return of Willie Mckay -
Jetro Willems (now playing for Deportivo Castellón)

Back on track. He spent last year mainly being played at CM and wants to get back to LB where he made his name. I think the pooping on shouldn't be for the going Loan to buy, thats smart given his fitness/form. It's more that we have gone from a very highly touted target to a slightly tainted one. Willems fits the wingback slot far better than N'Soki but is maybe a bigger gamble. Much higher ceiling and pedigree than the last two LB's we brought in though (not that hard). Understand the skepticism. -

That's CM sorted. -
Was shocked at the negativity with the Jetro links. Thought he would be welcomed as a much better choice than N'soki. Mich better suited to wing back. Then looked at his last season...13 start 36 appearances last year. Mainly played at CM huh. Did play DM and RW and of course LB/LW too

The quality of the squad is a million miles from the one that got Pardew to 5th. Absolutely no chance that'll happen this season. Bruce is worse than McClaren. At least McClaren had had a modicum of success. Bruce can't be anything other than a disaster. Even with 3/4 more signings our squad isn't nearly good enough to ease top 10. With the same number of additions and Rafa we likely would have been alright. We are entirely dependent on how shit other teams are this year. Bruce actually has pretty much always had good first seasons at clubs (means absolutely nothing here). He will need his best to still be in a job come February. (obviously Mike will sack him on deadline day to scupper a couple of deals)

Kinda rhymes but not sure it will catch on in the stands. What tune you putting it to?

Bruce signed Hatem but they did fall out. Hatem went AWOL when Bruce left him out. Ended up getting sent back from his loan didnt he. I remember getting excited that maybe he could have redemption but he couldnt play or something or spoon face had no interest in playing him.

Welcome to experiencing the CSA. I think fans find more potential canadians and make them known in forums than they do. They still dont call lol Don't worry you are still managing to poach Canadians. David aside Yeah, Sydney La Roux was probably our best poach. Bonus points: she’s smoking hot too. We got Janine Beckie though so it levels out!

Just finished watching it myself today. Cried like I'd just lost my dad. If anyone hasn't seen it yet just watch it! To think where he had this club and compare it to where it is now.... :'( Watched it on the plane on the way back to the UK this summer. Hard watch, absolutely criminal how much he was pissed on with England, at Barca and eventually us. Didn't even know him but miss him greatly. This completely, especially the end. Should have moved upstairs and brought his choice of manager in to mould (unless it was in fact bruce or Carver haha).

Bruce when he signed Joelinton for Newcastle: “He’s got everything that a modern-day player wants. He’s big, strong and athletic," Footballing talent, skill and flair can go whistle for Brucey. Give him a team of big strong grafting lads. Nicely done. We know all of this transfer business is a moveable feast anyway.

Bruce when he signed Axel Tuanzebe for Villa “He’s got all the ingredients of a modern day player – he’s quick, strong and powerful,” the Newcastle head coach told Aston Villa’s official website at the time. “He can play anywhere in midfield and anywhere at the back." Makes more sense.

A fucking men. It's a classic business tactic. Undersell...over deliver.. oh wait we don't ever do that last part do we.

We know what we need, we are working hard, want 5/6 ideally | Working through the night | Optimistic | Hopeful of 3/4 | Still hopeful | Cautiously optimistic | Working hard on 1 or 2 | Doing all we can to get players over the line | Going to the wire but have irons in the fire | Disappointed but we believe in the players we have. | Chronicle releases its Free Transfer XI

The Villa lad? Manure, England under 21 CB. Bruce had him on loan at villa. We need literally everything but centre backs or goalkeepers. What I thought. Apparently he plays RB too, which makes more sense.

Nicely played. Another week with a lower wage bill. Also perfect for the Arsenal game. If we dont get at least 4 in there will be even more discontent and hopefully more boycotting the game. Let me find my list of players on a free... Danny Simpson and Andy carrol coming home.

Harsh on Saviet tbh.

Lifted up his shirt to reveal FTM. Think he is on his way. Krafth looks more like it from us. He is surely worse than what we already have.

Against Hibs.
-
Only using it for the wolves games.
-
Actually the ball hit him and fixed his injury. Shame they dropped the stretcher in shock and he's now broken his arm.
-
Joelinton own goal.

Ritchie done for the season. Colback to play wingback.
