And Ashley will soon realize it's 15m now or 6m in the summer when Cabaye buys himself out. -

Well surely better adapting now so they are ahead of the game in September when we actually (at least in theory) have something to play for again. More sense than having them struggle august to March before getting to grips with the league. -

Well right after wasn't going to work. It's not like it's two days before or deadline day. Just how the fixtures panned out. Could have predicted this sept 1st. -

Bringing in Grenier and De Jong would help. Montpellier will be upping their price more knowin we have extra money for Cabella. -

HBA not signing a new deal? Or being sold as well? "Newcastle United are today pleased to announce a 3 year contract extension for local hero Shola Ameobi. In light of the sale of Yohan Cabaye to Paris Saint-Germain for 15million everyone at the club was in need of a lift." -

Would be a fantastic addition, especially now when he has some time to bed into a side that's season is effectively over. Think we will definately make some plays for replacements if we get the cab move sorted today/tmrw. More likely however we go abroad then Will Hughes, which is too bad. -

Yohan we love ya and will miss you. The ups: - I think we can get a bigger fee for him now than the summer. His stock is absolute as high as it gets. - We might be able to get a player thrown in. - We won't have to see him play against us in the league. - He was leaving in the summer anyway, with nothing left to play for now isn't that bad - 20m at the end of last season after the way he played? I would have been happy with that. - virtual 20m profit looking likely.. oh yeah we wont see much of that invested in the team will we. The downs: - He has been back to his best this year after a sorry season last year and is influential in our side. - Debuchy meltdown incoming. - The Derby is fucked - We are unlikely to get anyone in to replace him - He is a beautiful man and the forum mancrushometer will diminish to record lows. -

Easy excuse for yet another gutless performance against the Mackems. Couldn't have worked out better, almost like we wanted to sell him in the last week of the window. -

Wouldn't surprise me. Seems like they will come straight to the table with a reasonably offer, like Mata. Could see him gone by midweek. -
He obviously has his heart set on moving here asap. Why else the absolute bitter hate vendetta. Getting close on defamation/Slander tbh. Blatantly not coming here either way. We wont bid enough for him for them to accept and he will be on to somewhere bigger in the summer.

Well I for one am Honored he has signed with Chelsea.

I watched the first half of Guingamp vs PSG and had to turn it off. Blanc is the glammed up version of Pardew tactically. Negativity Central. The quality of football, despite the millions of pounds worth of talent on show was unbelievably poor. -
Was just going to say, would be happy with Noone! Regarding Gomis, I think we have got into a convenient cycle of finding a player we like, tracking him, bidding laughable money for him, waiting for the next window and then umming and erring because by this stage there is a new younger or alternative option we might be able to get.. repeat process.

It's going to be major rebuilding in the for sure. Which is stupid when we can bed a few players in and use them now. Wishful thinking but maybe Ashley wants our new manager to rebuild his side In The summer. Tbf it wouldn't matter what the new manager thinks even if there was one.

This time next week.

Thanks Pards.. Currently having to watch ligue 1 right now (PSG vs Guingamp). If anyone else has the misfortune of watching can you tell me if ligue 1 is normally this bad? Makes the mls look good. Honestly one of the poorest games I have ever watched, and I saw a lot of Toronto games last year.

Would still prefer Cabella out wide instead of Gouffran. Sissoko Anita Tiote Ben Arfa Cabella Remy Granted that is, as mentioned far too positive for Pardew.

For sure. Obviously would rather wait until the summer so we can have pre season to plan. That said we will only draw it out to the end of the window and not sign a replacement. Stock is certainly high right now too. -

Nothing to see here... ...hopefully -
Courbis is comparing the potential price tag of Cabella with Cabaye like they line up comparatively. Difference possibly due to: - playing experience and consistency in one of the best leagues on the world.. Oh and the French league. - captaining the sides he has been in. - extensive international experience with France. Also one of the first names on the team sheet. - general overall unrivalled sexiness on and off the field.
