  1. He was god awful at QPR last year.. Think he has lost a decent amount of pace too, although that could have been his woeful fitness! Would have snapped your hand off several season ago. Not sure he is a great investment now
  2. Bit of a shocker if they do end up with both..which is what they are dead set on. Will still be lacking in Midfield and defence though. Seems like a move of Madness from Defoe, but money talks. As long Hodgson has told him it won't effect his chances of making the world cup squad, provided he is playing and playing well, then i don't think its a problem. Wish Whitecaps would stop faffing and appoint a new manager.
  3. Stop fucking shooting FFs! Another solid performance, one misjudgement aside.
  4. sums it up. Absolutely stunning form in the first half..story of Sholas career though. He is an extremely capable and effective player when motivated and focused. This is the best I have seen him since the kinnear spell, where he was our best player. Unfortunately I have little hope he will stay at this mental level because he never has in the past. A winding down contract might help. We will take what we can from him, the run on the team has helped.
  5. So neat and tidy. Gives us a different dimension when he is on. Deserves to be starting but hard to know where and who he would come in for. Classy player though.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'd have no problem with that tactic if we were 3/4 up but it was so unneccesarg and risky. We were doing just fine. Absolute suicide sitting back on a 2-0 lead, that's not rocket science, momentum changes in an instant if the opposition scores. blind arrogance and stupidity from pardew.
  7. Great to see him back. Certainly looks trimmer.

How many fucking games is it going to take before shitface finally realizes you cannot sit back and defend a 1 or 2 goal lead. Certainly not in the premier league and with the players we have. Again we succeed in spite of his cower dead ad incompetence.

    Loïc Remy

You mean 'if' he leaves. I do, but I don't see him staying. On this form his stock is still high, he will be off to either a bigger club or one that offers him more money when they come calling.

What a player he is.. pure class. Will enjoy him while he lasts, but will leave a gaping cavern when he leaves in the summer.
  11. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/11/12/possibly-well-loan-out-luuk-de-jong-borussia-monchengladbach-look-to-find-former-newcastle-target-playing-time/108419/ Aye Aye.. great move in the end then.
  12. Think mourinhos plans badly backfired in the second half. I think he changed to make the game more open in the hopes of suckering us in only for their quality to Harm us. It aided our cause and pardew also managed to pep up our players. The added neat passing quality of Anita also changed the game when he was forces to come in, something that may not have happens had Tiote not aggravated his thigh. All in all credit to pards, fate leant a hand but some monster performances by pretty much everyone on the pitch in a black and white shirt. As good as I have seen mapou, willow and debuchy.
  13. Was happy to see Anita come on but for the first time in a couple of years nervous to see Tiote go off. He is back to his best, hopefully he can keep his form. Strangely all his same pirouettes seem to be working out for him now, which exacerbated his previous form in the eyes of fans. Confidence sometimes brings luck. Definitely using the ball better on the whole though.
  14. Classy player.. Tough choice for who gets dropped assuming Tiote is back. Tiote is back to his best, sissoko is certainly the least in form but was also fantastic in the secon half and we need his physicality.
  15. Tireless worker.. Got what he deserved. Fine finish.

    Alan Pardew

Only in our wildest dreams would this actually happen.. - They would be mad to want him - He won't want to be seen as ducking out here - He won't want to go to a smaller club who will absolutely go down. - We are just not that lucky

much better performance today.. in a way frustrating it might give his scant few supporters reasons to keep backing him. What today really was, was just a glimpse of how well we could play if we had a better manager and coaching staff.

pfff is he really an improvement He is positive. But no not really. That's the issue no point sacking Pardew unless it was for a big improvement. Holloway may have an early affect as Poyet and Di Canio had with the scum but its not the answer in the long term. We don't have an owner with vision and passion so he is never going to do whats best, tear off the dressing and put another cheap dressing on without cleaning the wound won't help us at all. Yep unless we get the owner out we will just drift along, whoever the manager is. Personally i think we could get a better manager, or should i put that as a manager who plays better football. But it'll still be a owner/JFK appointed yes man. Don't agree... granted we aren't going to push top 6 under this regime if thats what you are re-emphasizing. But a better manager.. which is practically anyone at this point would at least get us playing how we are capable and too our strengths, giving us hope and some passion back into supporting the team. We have a very talented set of players that have been basically ruined by our coaching staff.
  20. Losses and draws to december.. we will get tonked against the bigger teams the next few games but that will be "expected" by the hierachy. Its the slide after that which will do it. The pressure will be too much. I know Ashley cares little about others opinions but I think the Fans, Press and most likely next the players turning on Pardew will push him out. The bigget problem is that the whole club is so frustratingly un-ambitious. If we get a draw or half decent result in the next few games or we stick around mid table through December Pardew will stay. Bare minimum is perfect for Ashley. I wish it was that easy managing Newcastle in Champ Manager.
