Sending best vibes to Karius.

Probably out on loan next year at this rate.

Hopefully Schars parents don't post here.

Edwards could likely have the pick of any club he wants. I'd like to think he values a challenge. However, I just can't see him wanting to get back into the weeds to build almost from scratch and do what he already did at liverpool. Hopefully Eddie can sweet talk him. I'm sure we will get someone great in. It would be privy to find someone with top club, CL experience but also people like Giles and Richard Hughes have a great understanding of the market and getting value for money. There are advantages to both.

Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)

20m is literally insane. If we get 12-15m that is impressive. -
Howe to @bbcnewcastle on Joe White: "He's been really good since coming back. Been really pleased with more maturity from him. Performances in training have been very good. He's not getting on the pitch for any reason other than training well & he deserves to be there." https://x.com/raisbeck10/status/1758915955856421030?s=20

Hope we get to see Miley with Tonali and Bruno in the prem. Might never happen but even Brunos replacement and both Joe's back healthy we will hopefully be back to having some strong options in midfield to play with.

Newcastle United 2-2 Bournemouth (17/02/24) | Reaction: pg 34

Yeah. Don't remember us ever being stung by it in focus before. Thats could also be a casulaty of age though. Maybe the majority of fouls were either clearly in or out and not continuing for the penalties we have won/conceded. Likely age. -
Feel for the lad. I still think its based on FFP and triggering more payments for him in the summer if we reach a certain amount of appearances. Still that can't be such a sizeable amount of our summer budget to have us that worried, unless the bulk of the fee defers another year it still doesn't make that much sense.

Still confused by the rules on the penalty, as I'm simple. Schar is not offside because he was deemed not interfering with play. But he was fouled outside the box that continued into the box* which deems it a penalty because the fouls interfered with play. I think I get it, it just feels so contradictory in nature. Again not complaining. They still never showed the damn lines lol. Ironically if he was onside it would have only been the shirt pulling foul holding him back onside. *Didnt this used to be just where the foul starts, not where it ends up? I know we got stung this season with the same thing. Did the rule change this year? -
With two Joe's down, one had to step up. Not much time to make an impression but had a couple of nice touches. Great to see him get his chance and full debut. I expect we will see him again before the end of the season.

Great from Bournemouth. More exciting football for the neutral fans. You're welcome. We always deliver. -

Ritchie on. It's like putting burn back in the pitch, just less physical. -

Defence is low on confidence. It's a vicious cycle right now. Midfield can't help the defence out, nothing upfront to ease pressure, defence getting exposed and lower and lower in confidence. We need bodies back or should have signed a third striker in the summer or in January. We gambled twice and lost both times. -

Thought he was quiet and a bit to pouty in the first half, likely harsh. Several times he likely should have got a foul but was still on the floor whining long after bournemouth had counter attacked probably in my eyes just overshadowed the good stuff he was doing.. Been back to his best the past 20 mins.
