I think fans were in need of a lift and a few rumours to show there are other strikers out there on the market we could bring in. It was beginning to feel like the sky was falling and we were out of options. Maybe we are in for some of them. Maybe its just a bit of club created positivity.

From Eddie's comments we have been very impressed and surprised at how well he has held his own so far. This is just another test. Plan was u21s and potential loan in January. He has made staff reconsider. So I guess the next few weeks will be pivotal as to how he continues to settle as to what happens to him. As per Eddie, its not impossible he could push into the first team squad.

Came in to ask the same question! Should expect 3 or 4 more arrivals in the next few weeks at least. Defence looks stronger and Nobbs is a great pick up. Surely another couple of starters to come though. Look forward to seeing them at the weekend.

Its make or break for him this season. Big chance for him presently too. Looked class at the u21 Euro's. Hopefully this is his season to explode and find some consistency to reaffirm faith in keeping him. If not, a move is almost certain next summer.

On the upside the intent has been there this summer. Just bad timing with clubs that can out bid us at every corner thwarting us. Far from the worst window ever but certainly one of the most frustrating. Elanga is a great pickup and Ramsdale is a smart one with potential. We will get a couple more in for sure. Hopefully 4.
