so.... Perch in Midfield for 4 games? -
Fingers crossed on Mbiwa definetely the one I wanted for his versatility and potential. Be shocked if it happens though.
-
Makes little difference we will undoubtedly be paying his wages, they can't afford them. Thankfully he will be gone come summer either way.
-
It's not so much the jet-lag its the travel that tires them out, especially when they could be sat at home all day playing fifa on ps3 all day.
-
Because apparently he is amazing in training, talks a good game, doesnt kick up a fuss, helps the younger players, is vocal in the dressing room and has the potential to be great on his day. Problem is he isnt 21 now, his potential is NEVER going to be realised. We need hungry players that will chase the ball if the ineptitude of their own team means they arent delivering it to them. Honestly the best I think I have seen him was under Kinnear, because he needs someone shouting in his face to the point of knocking him out to get him focused for more than 30 seconds. Now Im pissed off I had to fucking remember fucking Kinnear!

Think we will push this one to go through at the last minute for 3.5m, then balls something up and get no-one.

Well derr...

Totally agree. It is actually ridiculous how little composure Simpson has on the ball. Would much rather see Santon at RB and Ferguson at LB. Never going to happen though unfortunately. He is actually alot worse than when he arrived, granted playing in the Championship helped. Hope Ashley rips up the contract papers and gives them to Clyne. Probably little point though considering they have Simpsons name on them.

Jonas wasnt as bad as people are saying IMO. probably our best player with best for holding up the ball, did put himself around. Granted he created jack all though which is unnaceptable, especially from a winger. However I wouldnt put him in the same category as Simpson and Shola. Linked up alot better with Fergie in 10 mins than he did with Santon all game though. -
Great to see him back. Looked good in a brief spell. Don't think he is ready to be risked at LB just yet but would like to see him on the left with Santon on the right.

We're actually pretty good at that, Fulham aside. Yeah, Tiote is a big miss and whilst he has the talent I still dont think Cabaye has settled. Regardless of whether its two from Guthrie/Cabaye/Tiote we ALWAYS seem to play with two DM that sit deep which offers nothing through the middle. We have a good battling midfield but we arent creating as much as we should be. -

On the upside, great to see Fergie back, thought he looked bright and I had optimism every time he got on the ball. Be seriously interested to test him out at LB with Santon at RB, maybe next cup game.. oh shit wait a minute.. -

Brighton gave us a fucking masterclass in how to close down a game though. Other than that they did fuck all, lucky goal. Don't want to see Simpson or Shola in a Newcastle shirt again. Those wondering why Pardew was benching Ben Arfa and why we have been linked to wingers need to look no further than today. He wasnt shocking but he was probably even worse than Obertan. -
Fuck I thought I was going to come away from this game hammering Shola, but somehow Simpson was even worse. Absolutely pathetic, rather have Raylor or even Perch at RB. No bollocks, no attacking brain, no defending brain, no clue. Worst RB performance I remember witnessing since Carr.

Actually would do the same for Ameobi, push ben arfa central and put best up top. That would mean only having ten men Bring Obertan on for Ameobi? you loose a finger? -
