  1. Plus marks for: Pardew's Tactics and team selection, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Krul annoying RVP Negative marks for: Williamson (we all knew he had no pace but he normally at least had a defensive brain, neither have been evident this year, have to replace in the summer), Cabaye (getting stuck in but some woeful possession and passing. Inability to pass the ball and keep possession, communication and marking at the back. Side note: Other than McMannaman being a prick about the Manure win, the commentary has been decent. The are giving Obertan a hard time, I don't think he is doing too bad tbh, got the assist. Just looks a little out of place at times going forward he is harrassing and getting back better than Ba in that position though. Can take these if we sharpen the fuck up at the back, talk to each other, stop giving needless possession turn overs from brainless passes.
  2. What is there to suggest that Tiote is off? Check the mammoth Lambias article talking specifically about the high possibility of him being sold, because clubs have noticed him and we won't stand in his way if a big enough offer comes in. Granted there is enough negativity around this place and the remnants of what used to be a red panic button somewhere. However, whether Tiote stays is pretty much in his court, I would like to think he will stick around, depends on who is in for him really. If 'Hip' is reading the facts and quotes put in front of you and making a logical deduction let me jump on that band wagon.
  3. This is still far from confirmed right? How come no-one is friends with him on Facebook or looking for him at the airport yet? Disgusting effort from all involved tbh.
  4. Well it doesnt matter you know the first sign of fan pressure and the bottler will be off in a shot.
  5. Shame Cardiff were unlucky otherwise Dogleash would have been put down already.
  6. Good news for us, reckon Walcott will be out for the weekend.
  7. Bolton bid 400k for him last year, reckon he could pop up at a lower end Premiership club, dont think he will drop as low as league 1.
  8. Belting interview from Demba and Shola http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/sport/video_audio/139323.html?CMP=OTC-RSS;genre=1;sport=3 Does it feel like a win though... Err no... no not really.

Didnt think sausagemong hit tiote on the chin either! tiote's cheek even wobbles in slo-mo after the contact. fist makes contact with tiote's chin ffs. ask lennox lewis whether getting hit on your chin is a significant contact or not. BBC said he was hit in the stomach Changed it now to being elbowed.

Well clearly as we drew 2-2 with wolves and fulham hammered us 5-2.

Every time we talk up a game we come short, Brighton game after a big productive break in Tenerife, the S[urs game where we were up for the challenge, then the Wolves game where we would avenge the Spurs defeat and today the much hyped up derby. We desperately need someone with some knowledge of tactics added to our coaching set up. I can see us coming away with no wins from the next five games. We will get beaten at Arsenal, struggle against Norwich at home, struggle at West Brom, lose against liverpool then struggle against Swansea away.

Yep, Simpson is playing the start me every game or I wont just threaten to sign and extension I will sign and extension, card.
  14. Good summary. Hopefully we can bring in a new first choice LB this summer.
  15. What when 10 out of the 11 opposition players were camped in their own half, not surprising. I'd be happy with trying Raylor and Santon as fullbacks regardless of which side they are on. Santon and Guti aren't clicking yet, but strangely Raylor was more disjointed there before him yet he clicked much better today. Raylor will soon get found out though when teams are pressing us. Santon still needs to settle and grow in this league and team. Raylor and Simpson have a bunch more cons than pro's but thats what we are left with. Can we just end the season now and open the transfer window please!
  16. This, don't want to slate him too much today. Got really stuck in just up to his yellow. That said, I can't resist, I want him out of the team as soon as possible.
  17. Spot on. Just wish Pardew wouldn't make him hoof it all the time.
  18. Can see the subs argument. Shola for Cisse was spot on. Bringing on Ben Arfa was also spot on, but should have been for Simpson imo, he was on a yellow and is more of a liability than Santon, think Pardew is insane on that one, Santons forward play ironically would have been great after the sending off.. That said Raylor actually combined well up the left flank I was reasonably impressed. I think after the sending off we could have sent Obertan on to really open them up, but its probably good we resisted as the Mackems only intentions were to sit 10 players in their own box and hope they catch a break. Pace wasn't essential. Still think he would have been a better bet than Lovenkrands. Simpson should just not be in the team period. 4/5 on subs given the impact of Ben Arfa and Shola. Just a shame the starting hierarchy rule prevented Shola from taking the penalty, think we definately would have won it had that gone in.

As if, it will be back to plan fucking A, only difference is Pardew will curb to public pressure by starting Ben Arfa. When he is ineffectual due to the long ball tactics he will be hauled off and dropped back to the bench.

How the fuck he didnt take Simpson off is beyond me. More of a liability than Santon and thats without factoring in the his Yellow card. Nearly gifted Campbell the ball late on too. Be rightly pissed if I was Santon. Ironically he would have had a field day in that second half. We were crying out for some pace to carve them up. Obertan should have come on IMO. Mackems had shut up shop the last 20 mins though and had no intention of attacking, pace wouldn't have really made a huge difference. The likes of Carver need to stop being ass reaming yes men and work something out here because Pardew's stubbornness on hoofball and chaining Cabaye and Tiote within 20 yards of the center circle just isn't working. Pardew is far too respectful in his tactics in the games we should be going all out attack for.
  21. Can see them hiring Harry Redknapp tbh.
