Really hyped up about this one, after watching his .co.uk interviews, if JFK has the players as pumped up as he has me we could have a great game on Sunday.
-
nice to see someone that plays the game out of passion and enjoyment rather than for the money.
-
The second coming. This time its personal. With Viduka banished to Australia, and no Carr to get in his way Greggs inventory looks doomed. Will JFK be here long enough to stop him? or is there a further twist in store with the worlds fattest free agent Ronaldo said to be pieing the situation.

I didnt really see anything wrong with the kinnear quotes, seemed like they are bending over backwards to nit pick, cant really see the point tbh.

In all honesty I reckon neither the South Africans or Nigerians will end up with the club. They are making alot of noise but I think they will get outbid by the Chinese or Yanks. The Boks bid is intriguing, Clifford would be a great addition, I think its still far from cut and dried Keegan will be able to come back. No buyer will want to pay Keegans 8m comp for him I think it depends on whether he will drop his case to come back.

South Africans look good. But who knows, bringing in Clifford would be a fantastic start, would be harsh on Money and Joyce, maybe both will have a place in the new system both have alot of experience and quality to add if the roles are right.

Scratch my earlier thoughts. if we bring back carr thats enough to break me. -
At least he can cover the pitch, we could do with the protection in the stands, its due to rain on sunday.

-
He couldnt before hand for fucks sake!
-
Depends on the new manager/owners, i can see both owen and martins gone by february. Martins abroad, owen to spurs.
-
So Its all a part of the 50/50 chance he has of playing sunday. either he is fit for sunday or wont play for us until the city game on the 20th.
-
Wanted a regular starting role, something keegan said he wouldnt get, as it happens he would have but regardless he chose hull.
-
Little bit far fetched IMO. He was a deer in headlights most of the time tbh. Like Ashley he was learning on the job, looked like an unassuming average joe but more importantly, unlike Ashley he knew how to address the fans, whilst it he didnt address us quite as regularly as everyone likes to praise him for when he did it was well crafted and thought out. Something you should really expect from one of the highest respected Lawyers in London. I like the guy for the above reasons but best chairman ever is a bit of a push, he took everything day to day and was at fault for not getting the signings Allardyce wanted due to his inexperience initially. His return comes as a happy sight and memory of when everything was looking great for the club, fitting he should be back to finalise the sale of the club. Should have some random Mort chants at the Everton match though!
-
Sure we can pick him and Valencia up after we appoint Bruce. They both looked great today as did the majority of the Wigan side.
-
Would be happy to see him in the SJP dug out, but only if everytime we score he does his mental celebration kicking the shit out of the advertisement boards and throwing his boot into the crowd.
-
Got Wigan playing some great football. Valencia looks fantastic. Away from Wigan, Everton defended worse than us for the Torres goals, affording him space? More like giving him the key to the city! Whilst we are a club in crisis, it encouraging the likes of Everton, Spurs and now they are even talking up Man City as one. Given the fact Hull, West Brom and Stoke will all struggle, we do have every chance of getting ourselves firmly out of this malaise.

Newcastle 1 - 2 Blackburn - 27/09/08 - Post match reaction from page 10

One of the worst officiating ive seen in a long time. First Blackburn goal was offside too. N'Zog added to the injury list now too. -
Im sure they will like the irony when blackburn put their 3rd goal past us without any reply.
-
Yep, out indefinately. Although not thought to be 4-6 months as quoted by the rags.
-
Would work fine. Keegan will boss the first team with Al assisting then depending on when KK bottles it next or shearer stabs him in the back the apprentice will take over. At least this will pacify the anti geordie types and mongs amoungst us and to be fair I cant see anyone better than those to being interested in us anyway.
-
This. Cant see him improving anything, but that will work to his advantage because there will be even less than a minority that think different. He has been out of the game 4 years let alone managing in the top flight. I hold no ill feeling to the man and will back him completely whilst he is here but (like Souness) its a shocking state of affairs he even has this opportunity.

Worst time for me. If this was happening after January things might be different, we still have plenty of time to turn the season completely around, in that respect there is still hope. However this is without a doubt the most humiliated I feel for being a Newcastle fan. In a way I will also feel a bit insulted if Keegan and Shearer do get appointed, its like a patronising pat on the head to appease the masses. how do you get humiliated ? General torrents of abuse by anyone I know that isnt a Newcastle fan, be it at work, out of work, via email etc.. The upside is I think everyone is actually getting bored with the mock jokes, emails and jibes seeing as it is just something of a norm now. Its probably not a problem living in Newcastle but its a shitter when your outside! I dont have to put up with the general negativity all around though. -
I'd take it as a bit of a slap in the face, placating whilst patronising us "brainless supporters" that only want Geordie heroes in charge and alienate and condemn anyone from anywhere else especially from the South. Oh know actually for the most part that is what we are. Keegan with Shearer as assistant makes sense, no one else would want it, no else would be supported and as soon as Keegan bottles it Shearer will be there to take over.
