Quite shocked that N'Zogbia himself has to pay £400k, while we have to pay just £200k

Thats what you call service.

.cock reckons that Carr and Huntington are full backs.

Quick, someone try and book tickets over the phone, and see what they say.

Wonder if Getty will still be doing their training session photos today? "Albert Luque takes time out of doing nothing, to talk to a fraud squad investigator".
-
Hopefully they're looking into Babayaro's claims of being a professional footballer. See, now this is ok, because theres some truth in it.

Was just thinking of some, too.

4 preseason games, and the Villa game is quite tempting actually for a tenner. Theres a shitload of other teams games in there too. Could charge mates to come round and watch Will probably try it for that month
-
Well, Rozehnal is number 6, Barton 7 and Geremi 17. Luque is currently numberless. 15 supposedly.
-
Lets be honest. If we'd employed Shakin' Stevens as manager, things would have taken a turn for the better.

Interesting. Makes Allardyces comments today about trying out different players in pre-season as a load of bollocks then. Seriously hope he's strong enough to handle it. It could either spur him on to the next level, or make him do a Scott Parker.
-
Squad number 15 by the looks of it, from the training pics/videos.

Video on .cock Goes into more detail. Says he has a house here, kids here and has never wanted to leave. Also seems a bit pissed off at the speculation, says its happened for the past 2 seasons and hopes it doesn't happen every summer. Worth a watch
-
I cancelled it a couple of weeks back actually. Still getting texts though. Sshhhhh

4 year deal, signed .cock in a few minutes
-
Also said it will definately be 2 teams playing against Hartlepool, 45 mins each. Seems really keen on not overdoing the players, and staying clear of injurys

Free transfer is good. By my counting that'd give us 10 midfielders, who are all good enough to play. Think it'd also put an end to the Deco rumours.

Nicked from tommorows Sun; THE Argie who wrecked David Beckham’s 2002 World Cup is heading for Newcastle. Midfielder Aldo Duscher’s two-footed tackle broke a metatarsal on Beckham’s left foot during a Champions League quarter-final between Manchester United and Deportivo La Coruna. The England ace has since admitted he was never properly fit for that World Cup - despite making the plane to the finals in South Korea and Japan. Duscher the Butcher is now jetting in to meet Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce for a trial today. If successful, it will lead to talks over a free transfer now his Deportivo deal has expired. Allardyce looked at Duscher, 28, last year when he was Bolton boss but the move broke down. Deportivo want to re-sign him — but the player prefers to test himself in English football. If he signs, Duscher can expect plenty of grief up and down the country from English fans who have never forgotten him. Meanwhile, Newcastle insist they will not accept a penny less than £13million for Obafemi Martins. The Nigerian striker has been attracting interest from Arsenal and Juventus but neither club is prepared to pay the £13m fee which will trigger the buy-out clause in his contract. No official bids have been made — but the interest from the Gunners is well known. Yet Allardyce has no wish to sell Martins, 22, and is not encouraging offers. Marseille captain Habib Beye last night turned his back on a move to St James’ Park. Toon were ready to pay £3m for the Senegal right-back, 29. But Beye said: “I am here at Marseille. I have a year left on my contract and I will honour that.” http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007320139,00.html

Nicky replied to Leazes1986's topic in Football
Good shit. If he leaves now, we'll even get a fee for him -
I give it at least a week until this is confirmed.

English pair in bids for Rigters Two clubs from England's Premier League are in poll position to capture Netherlands Under-21 striker Maceo Rigters, Breda have confirmed. Blackburn, Celtic, Newcastle and Rangers have all been linked with the 23-year-old forward. But Breda director of football Earnie Stewart told BBC Sport: "I can confirm that neither Celtic, nor Rangers, have bid for Maceo Rigters. "The only two offers have come from the English Premiership." The Dutch club would now tell the player the interested clubs to gauge his interest in joining them. Stewart confirmed that Celtic had formally expressed an interest in the striker but that Rangers had not yet been in touch. There had been claims by Rigters' agent that five clubs had now places firm offers for the player. "If Maceo and/or his agent want to reveal the clubs, that's a matter for them, but NAC Breda won't comment other than to confirm there have been two English bids for him," stressed Stewart. Agent Frank Schouter told BBC Sport: "I think NAC are now in a position of strength with so many bidders. "We are just waiting for NAC to tell us which clubs we can talk to and that is likely to happen on Monday." Breda had hoped to negotiate a new contract with Rigters but now appear resigned to sell him to another club. Interest in the striker was heightened after he hit four goals for the Netherlands en-route to the side winning the European Under-21 Championship final. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/6249262.stm Wonder if we're one.
