    Curtis Davies

Saw him play for the U21's the other week, and he looked a bit shit in that game to be honest.
  2. From BBC. The Football Association is to investigate claims Newcastle midfielder Emre racially abused Bolton forward El-Hadji Diouf in a Premiership match. The incident allegedly took place at St James' Park on 15 October. "We will be contacting El-Hadji Diouf to see if he wishes to provide us with a statement," said an FA spokesman. Emre, 26, already faces a personal hearing after denying a charge of using racially-aggravated language in his side's defeat at Everton in December. Why on earth has it taken so long to come to light?
  3. Impressed watching the video, was certainly giving it more effort then I imagined he had from the article earlier. Can't wait to see him back
  4. I've waited all my life to see us win a cup. Nobodys pissing on my parade :angry5:
  5. If he's declared fit by the doctors, surgeons etc, then its not a risk. If we're still in the UEFA cup, then bloody right we should play him. Given; Solano, Gooch, Taylor, Babayaro, Duff, Parker, Dyer, Milner, Martins & Owen. Harper; Bramble, Moore, Emre, Butt, Sibierski, N'Zogbia. What a bloody good line-up we could have.

    Gooch

Loved this quote; "I just told him to keep on talking and we would keep on playing. There was a moment when he was complaining I elbowed him in the head. “So I just responded ‘look at where your head is, I can’t help it if you’re so short you only come up to my elbow.’ He just smiled and said ‘you’ve got a point there’.”"

    Babayaro

Much more respect for him after playing today. Doesn't make him any better of a LB, but he's gone up in my estimations for going out there today Was nice seeing Roeder hugging him at full time, too.
  8. I wouldn't boo him, personally. What he said/thought about Souness was the same as about 90% of us. He was constantly being played on the right-wing by Souness which helped nobody, when it was obvious he was being wasted there. It seemed he'd only keep him on that wing, and instead play Shola up front for no reason other then to show who's boss. Well, they're both gone now, and I know who I have better memorys of

    New England Shirt?

http://www.thefa.com/England/SeniorTeam/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2007/02/EnglandKitLaunch.htm Look at the photos of the players in the new shirt. Obviously been photoshopped, but look at how old the photo of Rooney is!  http://www.thefa.com/NR/rdonlyres/2D871FAF-40EB-4DD4-8597-4FE2E4BC59BB/105830/WayneRooney_H.jpg
  10. Quite a nice little honour there for Nigel Pearson.... STUART PEARCE is gutted he has been blocked from managing the England Under-21s in March — because he wanted to be the first boss to lead out the national side at Wembley. Pearce had twigged that the friendly against as-yet-unconfirmed opponents would be the first match to be played at the new Wembley. But Manchester City will allow Pearce to take charge only for next week’s Spain friendly and this summer’s Euro finals in Holland. It means the first England boss to lead a team out at the brand-new stadium will be Pearce’s Under-21 assistant Nigel Pearson.
  11. Only problem with that, is that he looks like the guy who you want to be on the end of a throw like that!
  12. AHAHAHHA. What a debut by Rocha. Heads it clear when its ON THE FLOOR, and Arsenal score.
  13. Yeah, thats makes us look brilliant.
  14. Alonsos booking means he misses the game against us
  15. Shut up man, theres still a day left!
  16. 12 seconds into the 2nd half, crazy defending. Brilliant hit though Kuyt. 2-0 Crouch!
  17. I'm just kinda hoping they can get this to go through in time so he can play wednesday night. With Nobby out, it would be most useful.
  18. He broke the scales when they tried to weigh him. Can't find another set as the shops close early on a Monday. Most rational answer yet
