Been banging on about this for ages. Ba was never having issues with the amount of chances when wide left. He just wasn't scoring the chances he had, and he had plenty.

He's generally shouting generally encouraging things to his players, if I recall correctly....

to his defending but he is shit in attack. And sure his defending was sound, but not like he's putting every single winger in his back pocket to make you say "ah nevermind, he's a rock back there." There are other RBs out there who actually could score, put in a decent cross, have some intelligent overlapping. He's a pretty good defender who isn't THAT good at defending consistently and is poor in attack. He puts in good effort and gets on with the job which I'll always credit him for, but again - there's better out there.

Revisiting my clearly angry and upset post last night with a more clear head...Think I vastly overreacted and hold my hand up on that one. I'm back on the fence. Tired of managerial merry-go-round, tired of the negative press that we get because of it, but I'm also tired of what sort of crap we've been putting out there this campaign. I just want the results to change and starting to not care how, just want it to change.

Anita - Tiote ----Marv---- That HAS to be our fucking midfield for now. Ben Arfa given license to roam, Ba and Cisse doing w/e the fuck it takes to get goals. Pards playing Jonas for 90 minutes was shocking, and there are times when I go mental at some of his decisions, I thought this one was massive. Marv shone at home then had a shit game like the rest of the lads who travelled to Bordeaux, then was forced to sit the bench whilst Jonas couldn't buy himself a successful pass for nearly all the match.

Officially turned. I want him gone. Respect the man for what he did last season but he's failed his players and us. Even if the Board hung him out to try from a transfer perspective, and he's had some terrible luck with form, injuries etc. but he's the manager, and the table does not lie. He's failed to get the best out these players and he's failing us.

Oh this one brings back some memories man. I remember the day we signed him going mental. He was probably one of my favorite players outside of Shearer at the time. I remember Sir Bobby saying how massive of a signing he was for our club, and that at the age we signed him at - and the potential he still had - could prove to be one of the most important signings we've ever had. I was just in awe at the time, thinking - go on, our Big Al will retire and Bellers & PK would take on the mantle and propel us forward. I mean the rest after that was history.... But his injuries and fitness always seemed to rub many the wrong way, I still can't believe at times we had this guy playing up front with Alan Shearer and Bellamy and we had that tit Souness managing the club. On his day, he was legendary, the things he could do with the ball...just wish we had gotten to see him play for us longer, and hungrier? I don't know. I'll always rate him as one of the bests I've ever seen, and I never look at his period with us other than we were fortunate to have him with us and wish it could have been better for him and us.
