  2. Been waiting for someone to do that.

    Harry Redknapp

Posted this in response to the link provided in Not Worthy of a Thread section....
  4. Too nitty gritty for my liking, but I think it looks pretty cool though
  5. From that article... "If you’ve got a deal for a player, another agent will try to scupper that. It’s unbelievable. They’re fighting for big money, that’s the problem." You're a fucking idiot Harry man.
  6. Now lead the team out at Villa today and get us 3 points and back on track.
  7. There are times he surely must score when he gets into those positions, and he just doesn't. Sums up his career so far I guess. I really wanted him to succeed too - but that Norwich game last season sort of put me off of him for good.
  8. If I can scoot out of work early, I'll be meeting Cuba at the pub for some part of it. If not, I'll have to close my office door and stream the fucker. Sometimes, I can hold off and literally shut my phone off and schedule meetings so I go home and watch it. But not tomorrow man,
  9. Hopefully Marv plays himself into a role where he stays here. He's a very skillful player who could really shine even more with these new signings around him.
  10. Naw man, we all are very very aware of our performances this season so far
  11. Yes. Cisse in the back left - has that classic smile/yell thing he always does.
  12. Nobody should go until the season is over unless its a young one going on loan or recouping any cash on Simpson's expiring deal.

    Alan Pardew

I won't be too upset with him as long as Mapou starts. But with all of the press regarding Sissoko, the lad has got to start man Would be some cruel stuff for us to wait until the glorious 60-something minute to bring him in.
  14. Agree with above, cautiously nervous (as I always am in a transfer window) But i think all hands are on deck to get us secured.
  15. He has had a real rough spell in arguably a time where the players around him have also played like s***. With the Ba distractions gone, mood very positive with the new signings - confident he'll start scoring regularly again. Chances WILL be created for him, and he'll put them away. BTW - reading all of these Moussa interviews man, my goodness - he sounds like such a winner. A man who is really confident in his own ability and seems to have a good head on his shoulders, I just can't wait to see him bombing up the pitch on those mazy runs. Could see him linking up brilliantly with Cabaye, HBA, and Marv as he really looks to pass and move into threatening positions.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Can just picture Cabaye and Hatem texting Graham
  17. Cisse's like "aye, not here man"
  18. He's a fucking beast man. Just saw the newer video - he looks physically even more imposing than Yaya.
  19. Our merchandising is so fucking rank man Mike must be selling the fuck out of these things...that could explain the increased transfer activity.

Aye Shak posted the wordier version of what I said - get in f***ing hell, I've basically just padded out your post. Anyway, would prefer someone who can play wide of a front three but there's more than one effective formation out there. The flirting between Cabaye and Debuchy in the 4-3-1-2 would be outrageous though. To me, theres no real weak link in that formation - if Haidara develops we have left footed option from LB so that will provide more balanced width (in the traditional sense). But I like that formation. I'm not so sure the 4-3-3 everyone lauds will ever work again the way it did for us during that run we had last season. I think overall, the best formation for us involves a 3-man midfield with 1 guy holding and 2 working their bollocks off and the front 3 need to be fluid enough to the point where they are able to be in the right positions to score. If that means a front 3 with 2 wide men, or 2 drifters or 1 drifter and 2 up top. Its flexible. Our issue is movement (the lack of it) and hopefully the signings made last week will help facilitate more movement? But yes, Yo and Matty would be on a love-fest in that Shakinated formation, they'd be 1-2'ng it all fucking day.
