We badly need to get Tiote fit and in the engine room. And that's no offense to Bigi who came on and played terrific today.

We'll probably find out in January if heads are turned after finishing 5th unless we do better than expected again. Yeah, but honestly I don't really care to know. We lost nobody, we did not secure CB, RB, or Striker depth. Now lets do with what we've got and hopefully those thinner areas don't become a problem for us. I'm over this sort of "bleh" feeling about the end of this window - we've signed Bigi, Good, Amalfi and Anita. Here's to hoping they prove to be the same hits that most of our recent transfers have been and I can't bloody wait for SJP to come alive on Sunday v Villa. Hope we batter them.

AP shot himself in the foot when he let that one out a bit at that BBC radio talk-in with Carver. Not that it matters now mind you, but this one seemed almost too public from the day the rumors starting floating.

He'll slowly find himself there IMO. I think that is where we should use him this season if im honest. Others play the positions he's suited for better, but few have that left footed strike like him.

f*** it. My thoughts? We c**ked up this window and failed to build upon last season. Despite making a few moves to improve midfield depth, The so called "policy" that our board is sticking to has failed to take the bull by the horns and with the upfront investment to yield the gains associated with securing a higher placed finish, pushing for CL, and so on. Its staggering, how slow we've been this whole summer, and I feel for AP having to always look over his shoulder for possible player sales and having to deal with the "policy."

This certainly would be disappointing news FFS, depressing indeed

Wake up each morning over here in the states hoping/clutching at straws that some good transfer news will come through....I'm officially resolved to the feeling that we will sign nobody. Hopefully I'm proven wrong. Massive, MASSIVE opportunity to push on from last season has been missed and all it really needed was 3 players for FFS. "Our Policy" may have worked last summer, winter, and partially this summer - but fact of matter is - come window closing and we've had 0 incomings (and God forbid 0 outgoings) we've failed to push on effectively from last season's finish.

I like the 3rd kit a ton. Great kit.

Best case for England is a really slick unique kit like France. Worst case for England is something somewhat unique but boring like some of the Nike Euro kits. Will be strange to see an England kit without Umbro's logo and was really enjoying their Tailored By.... Approach to both City and England. The kits seemed to have some incredible amount of thought and art to it. Ah well then!
