If HBA goes on one of those runs Debuchy needs to sit back and hold his position unless we're in a position where he can overlap and attack right? Alternatively, that's why I've always been Pro-MYM next to him for the sheer fact that the man has pace to close space down should we be caught-out. It just doesn't help that when we're caught out its nearer to our goal and we haven't been able to clear.

Speaking on footballing terms, I absolutely loved the few attempts at creative link-up between he and Gouffran. They look infinitely more intelligent playing together with dummys and what not. I know not all of them came off and Gouff didn't make much an impact, but it was promising.

I'd probably put Taylor back in there with Colo. Mapou's been pretty good, though, so he'd stay in the team too at Debuchy's expense. My only hesitation would be to break-up the MYM-Colo partnership. But we really don't have much choice, as MYM is probably a better option at RB than Santon or Dummett. Has he played RB for us? A handful of times. He wasn't impressive, iirc. Seems to be a bogey position for us at the moment. I thought the few times MYM played RB he looked good there. He had pace, he was good at getting forward on the overlap and he hit the best cross I've seen from one of our backs in ages when he played that ball to Cisse in the Europa League (not sure if the bastard was offside or it counted, mind you, probably offside...one of the many close calls). MYM - Saylor - Colo - Santon Santon - MYM - Colo - Dummett Are really the only 2 ways I want to go with this.
-
Personally, I wish Santon would look comfortable playing RB and we could get Dummett developing into our starting LB.
-
There is no reason to bring Tiote back. The change needs to be our right back and Anita is wasted there and needs to start centrally in midfield.
-
To be fair he's made loads of tackles and interceptions today
-
He's shocking and I don't really ever foresee him getting back to form here under this manager or even this league.
-
Well said pedro mate.

Drop Cisse, play Gouffran in his position leave midfield same unless Cabaye is out and place Marv there. I don't want to happily think about our defense right now.
-
I knew exactly what I was saying with that. It's like pure reluctance/stuck with type statement
-
I'd happily play MYM at RB and slot Saylor in at CB to bench Debuchy and keep Santon LB, and I'm not even happy with that tbh
-
Shit performance. Fucking shocking defending. Refing has been shit too. We lost our way when we decided to go 4-4 fucking 2. Stupid. Remy played great. Ahhhh Newcastle United....fucking hell come on.
-
Get Cisse off go back to 4-3-3 with Marv in Cabaye's role
-
Cisse off for Gouff please. He's useless today. Hatem needs to switch the fuck on as well.
-
I expect they'll try and close down Remy more in the 2nd half to which Hatem is going to have more time to cause some havoc.
-
He's a complete player - pace, dribble, strength and instinctive finisher.
-
Remy is a special talent - he's absolutely one of our best players. Its very clear very quickly.
-
We're just clearly not creating chances for him, and when he has had chances he's made some baffling decisions/snatched at shots...the quality is all there though, we know that. Hopefully this 4-3-3 will see the best of him again.
-
Was nothing really, they were going over Ben Arfa's goals/assist against Villa and Fulham and basically said the same thing as Hansen, i.e. show him down the outside. He'll go outside, and cross like he did when nobody was there to finish and Anita did well to earn us a corner off of it - or he'll go outside and when the defenders are playing catch-up/slide, he'll just cut it back to his left foot and go back inside. Analysts think its easy or something to do that - he'll just twist and turn his way around you and make you look even more foolish. On his day he's unplayable.
-
Play the unchanged side, should win by 2 goals. This would should literally be all about playing our game, mastering the 4-3-3 and taking it the opposition.
-
That Ben Arfa out wide with space roar, "go-on" is magic man. I love that he acknowledges this ("go-go-go" from the weekend) and appreciates it.
