agreed on all points with extra emphasis on how disappointing Altidore truly is.

Played against Freddy Adu in a friendly when he was like 13 or 14? He was ridiculous man,

Tragedy can have its own way with people in many ways that we can't explain as it may be the complete opposite of what the norm is to us. Be it bringing people together or ripping apart..
-
Jonas is hilarious man. He's always smiling and laughing.
-
Nah but madness if we had him as our senior most striker leading the attack in premiership though. I don't doubt that one bit!
-
I understand that Ron- and see your point and can see why people would feel that.
-
Silly me for liking someone even though Ive watched their entire career via the tele, guess my opinion means fuck all then?
-
Out of interest, why? He has never picked himself, played through numerous injuries when needed, scored some big goals (including against the mackems) and has never been one of those w***** footballers that drags the club through s***. Don't understand why anyone would hate him Agree with Cajun. He's a top pro, Geordie, role-model to his younger brother Sammy, scored some very important goals for us, and hits 1 f***ing mint penalty. He' given 100% to this club, even if he may have been limited with injuries, or had a woeful run-out in the team. Hating the guy? Have a word with yourself - hopefully you realize you are just using an overly harsh word....I'd always thought most would have the same opinion as Mick if they had issues with his ability.
-
IF he can help us this season, then great. If not, so be it - he'll be gone - but it would be about time he showed up to play for us so he can continue on somewhere else for the sake of his football career. And yes, I completely forgot about this guy as well.

The next talk-in somebody has got to ask what the hell went wrong with this lad other than probably being a horid and shit trainer Hope he makes something of himself in whatever competition we play him in. Wonder if Campbell is even ahead of him.
-
I must say, I've never seen him ever attempt a header with any conviction in the box before. That header he lept up, attacked the ball and put decent power on it. He's really playing like our main man and showing it in not only in the tackle (like mentioned earlier by someone), but in passing, dribbling, taking shots, knowing when to pass and bring others in and that very un-HBAlike header. May be Giggs, but I also think its the first time I've heard Pards say "he's the best in training" which always seemed like something he'd get criticized for.

@davidmcrossman: #nufc #cabaye on being left out of FRA-URU last month: "I started training with the #nufc squad just a couple of days after starting on own ... #cabaye cont: "The #nufc squad had started three weeks prior. I found it really hard physically. I was given some days rest." #Cabaye: "I don't know if it was linked to Euro, my first big comp. Maybe I wanted to start training again with #nufc too soon... #cabaye: "Maybe it was linked to Euro and the huge frustration, which I'd not totally got rid of. #Cabaye wanted #Debuchy to sign @DanielH19 but I don't think that's the prob. Plus he's not short of people to speak French too at #nufc #cabaye will be fine. I'm prepared to take his words at face value. He's a proper professional.
-
He was wheeling away after that free kick too; he'll be fine. Pards and co will help get him sorted, whatever the reason it may be. I'm sure Hatem will have a word with anyone who isn't pulling their weight like he is right now
-
International break much needed. Confident we will turn it around at Goodison. Tiote's iron fist back in the middle of the park and Hatem taking up whatever role he likes for me. Very much liked Anita at RB, and anyway to have him, Tiote, Yo and Jonas on the pitch are crucial. I think Cisse just needs to hit one and well see him back on form. He was burying his half chances last season, and hopefully we will see that soon.
-
Bookmarked your blog. Great reads and looking forward to more from you. Excellent stuff mate
-
We badly need to get Tiote fit and in the engine room. And that's no offense to Bigi who came on and played terrific today.
-
He looks well up for it this season. Love his goal celebration.

We'll probably find out in January if heads are turned after finishing 5th unless we do better than expected again. Yeah, but honestly I don't really care to know. We lost nobody, we did not secure CB, RB, or Striker depth. Now lets do with what we've got and hopefully those thinner areas don't become a problem for us. I'm over this sort of "bleh" feeling about the end of this window - we've signed Bigi, Good, Amalfi and Anita. Here's to hoping they prove to be the same hits that most of our recent transfers have been and I can't bloody wait for SJP to come alive on Sunday v Villa. Hope we batter them.
-
Wonder whos head supposedly was turned a bit....
-
AP shot himself in the foot when he let that one out a bit at that BBC radio talk-in with Carver. Not that it matters now mind you, but this one seemed almost too public from the day the rumors starting floating.
-
Excellent delivery of the ball, attitude and dedication to the club. He'll be a massive miss for us. Shame it has to happen to someone so likeable. O
-
Disappointed. Hopefully all quiet for the night on departure front and we go in on Sunday looking for 3 pts and get everything clicking. Here's to hoping at least.
-
He'll slowly find himself there IMO. I think that is where we should use him this season if im honest. Others play the positions he's suited for better, but few have that left footed strike like him.
