Love when you think the ball to be played is out wide and he plays a real pacy ball up to the man checking to the ball upfield, its actually great to watch. Hopefully with Remy out there and his infinitely better ball control -- those will stick and the team will move forward. I like this little fella, long may his run in the team continue. This is where I draw the line with this "he doesn't look like he cared" randomly during some matches. I've maintained, this f***ing crazy lad absolutely is the opposite, he f***ing cares a s*** load and he has always said the right things and shown on the pitch he's putting 100% out there. Never hides, always wants the ball, sometimes guilty of doing too much -- which, given how he's one of a few take the game on type players we have, is refreshing and I'll always applaud it b/c there will be a moment all his huff and buff will click again and he'll be winning us a point or 3 with his sheer brilliance and determination.

I've no problem seeing a local lad giving it his absolute all and playing football the way he tries to do -- entertaining, fearless at times (even when he fails, doesn't shirk from his game). It's why I'm so receptive to Dummett in our side as well. You never know if a kid will develop until he takes the chances he's given -- thought both of those lads did so on Wednesday.

The hate some of these players gets on here is mad. He finally put in a worthwhile performance for us and scored a damn goal. He was an ever present player on the left- flair players do that you know. I've said he's not up to the level for ages, but he deserves praise and support for his body of work yesterday. Tirelessly up and down the pitch, gave the ball away but didn't hide one time, showed for the ball and kept at running at his man and using his pace and skill. His take for that goal was really top notch- probably only HBA & Remy have that in their locker.

Mapou came to the league at age 22 and Colo signed at 26. Both came at different stages of their respective careers. Both have shown shakiness and real top talent in their first appearances. Let Mapou settle the fuck in man; awful team and environment he's joined in. He's every tool and mentality and resume to show he can develop into a top player for us.
