shola was stick thin as well when he first broke though, i think sammy will naturally add some bulk to his frame over the next 4 or 5 years. Shola's added weight and muscle has no doubt completley taken away from some of his unpredictablity and talent from when he first came on, no?

Do people actually ever take into account the fact that Romario and Ronaldo had other world-class world cup winning talent around them in Brazil. In the case of Ronaldo he was playing for Barcelona and Inter who had much better talent than Newcastle or England?
-
Carragher was giving him an earful after that too
-
Respectfully disagree Ron, and thats just my opinion.
-
Id love him back. 100% would be for bringing our boy back. Don't ever see it happening though.

Cabaye could have won it for us, brilliant match from him. So many positives to take away - our passing much mroe fluid, our attack looked much better. Bring in Ben Arfa and Marveux into the first team. Personally feel Sammy needs to be brought on earlier every match, his pace and trickery is really something fun and special to watch.
-
Marveux please, yes Obertan's best match for us - but he is so gash in the final 3rd.
-
Obertan kills me, so much pace, talent and strength and bloody no idea how to use it.
-
DW looks like a friendly ol' chap.
-
I'd love him back in January.
-
Can't bloody wait for HBA to get back on the pitch for us.

I work for a major REIT, and I underwrite assets - wish I could just underwrite this one and save us all from this. Unfortunately, I can't do that. Top posts by Pip and HTT.

Go on Leon son, you scored 2 last match - take up the reigns and continue to prove the doubters wrong. This is your opportunity, we'll back you no doubt.

100% truth. As it currently stands, I've no issue with AP. He's showed in the 3 matches so far, that he's been able to react and adapt the match and get us vital points. But if he were to walk, dear me - another imploding scenario that we go through every damn season. I have no problem with him currently, and really feel for him as he continues to be misled by the board - its like his job is to be prepared for a firing squad, every single day.
-
That would be amazing. Can't see it though. A Johnson - Cabaye - Tiote - Jonas w***-tastic wishful-thinking. I'd pass out if we emerged bidders and pulled it off. That would be amazing. Can't see it though.

Hot-hand of the 2 - right now its Raylor. Simmo has played pretty poor and his crossing is gash. Offers 0 going forward in all of our matches this season.

They were yes. However, in the last 5 years he's lost the likes of Lehman, Campbell, Lauren, Cole, Bergkamp, Henry, Pires, Ljungberg and Vieira. Who were all vastly experienced players, with that winning mentality. Ferguson's a master of keeping that mentality in his teams, something which Wenger has failed to do since they last won a trophy. (Which has coincided with Bergkamp retiring) Then again, look at what he managed to do to with Arsenal after they got hammered 6-2 at Old Trafford with the likes of Stepanovs playing. He's not been able to replace the "decling" leaders with new gems of talent who shoulder the responsibility, and you're 100% right. So is it the fact that WENGER won't sign new players and his complex wage structure or is the Board being tight behind the scenes? All accounts is Wenger, no? I still fail to believe that this theory that the board won't release money. This transfer policy's gone on for a good few years now, every year the board saying there's money available, every year Wenger saying he believes in his philosophy. If that wasn't true, and it really was the board turning to Wenger and saying 'you can live within this pathetic budget mate, deal with it', there's no way it would've been kept for secret this long. Complete opinion on my part of course, there's no one who can say for definite except those involved in the running of the club. I'm thinking the money is there, but AW is abs. t!t with money and his philosophy. I think its backfired as soon as Cesc and Nasri have gone - he seems to have no plan B. Its compelling and extremely interesting to see all this turmoil surrounding him and the club. Interesting to see how their season turns, esp if they make no splash in the market next few days.

Don't know if Wenger himself had got it wrong, the late departures of Cesc and Nasri has absolutely destroyed his team and his plans. His teams were built around these 2 right?
-
Haris needs to be on the bench from now on, he showed in his appearance last night some real vision, direct play, eye for the goal and is a real threat in open play.
-
They just assume Sammy is an idiot and doesn't know what he's doing? Give me a break...
-
Needs to bulk up a bit throughout the course of the year, but hes a talent. brilliant goal.
