All with the congested fixtures and toughest domestic league + cup, and European fixtures in any of the top leagues ++ the injuries/suspension to about a dozen of our first team players of which a handful of them are legit starting players and of that group 3-4 those are foundational pieces of our team. I’d say we’re doing fucking mint all things considered. With better luck in the injury front we’d be doing better.

I think that bit of experience and intelligene (esp in our league) is what our CM is missing most. Insert Philips into 1-0 v Liverpool, 2-1 v West Ham and 2-1 v Wolves (obv if he was fit) and I'd tell you thats +7 points. What he does in those matches is what we're lacking when closing out games. Would say the above applies to Ruben Neves too.
