I think you keep Miley here training under Eddie Howe and his team, developing not only his understanding with his own teammates but tactically learning from our team and analysts. Sending him out for 1st team minutes to a team with inferior coaching doesn’t always pan out, particularly if he’s a loaned player, always seems that unless its a desperate situation or loaned player is playing brilliantly they get shoved right back down to the bench in favor of someone who is contracted to that specific club.

He’s just out of form at the moment (Haaland) as are all of his creative players; he’s still one of the best strikers in the league/europe/football. Just happens that I’d always prefer Isak to him (overall game, his vibe/swagger, etc)

His missed 1 v 1 yesterday was similar technique to what he did on his second v Spurs last season. He quickly changes it to a right footed shot and tries to just hit a stinger.

I won’t even waste time talking about how great of a team he’s inherited + City’s slide but Arne is a fucking brilliant manager and tactician. Been saying this for a while now.

And there’s no need for our fans to expect that level of passing. His strength is his defending (rightly so) and ball carrying. Just needs to continue to work that - he can be a deadly attacking threat if he’s just too good on the dribble and able to drill a ball low or find someone in the half space. No issues at all with him in current form, his defending is too damn good to even care about the attacking stuff.

I think he’s the best all around striker in the PL. there’s stuff he does that nobody else can.

When he drops in and plays link up balls wide and turns up field and bursts into the box, it’s a thing of beauty. Funny, reminds me of Prime Shearer where he’d play a first time ball into space and we’d be off to the races.

I’m certain all top strikers get one or two wrong every match. The best continue to plug away and get their goals. Isak is in that category.
