Krafth 2, Longstaff 7, Almiron 10, ASM 11, IMO
-
where's the 3-0 image? That's 3 years in a row he's been left out right?
-
Was hoping Longstaff would have gotten a single digit number like 4 or in the teens like 12 or 16. Wanted Miguel to get the 10 or 7 and would have been cool to see Carroll go back to the 24 from the Champo season.
-
Potentially the 1 and only good thing Bruce will do.
-
Have to think Rolando thought he was starting on Sunday; hell I thought he was going to as well. I'm shocked about it - and was starting to feel that way yesterday when they said he'd potentially go out on loan. But What in the living fuck is Shola doing not getting that one sorted?
-
hahahahha nice.
-
Yep, its so easy tbh. Just deflect questions about the owner if they need to - don't answer it - just say what Dubs just did..."just want to get on with my football, and play for the fans" could literally just repeat that over and over and over to every question. If you don't want to bad mouth your owner and coach or opine on the previous one, don't - just say hey man, i'm trying to do my job and that's play football and get results.
-
Damn that’s pretty cool platform
-
I hope they send him on loan to like a mad Eastern European first division
-
I don’t understand the logic behind it
-
So he has time to go abroad then right?

Martin Dubvraka On fans' frustrations towards the ownership: "It is hard for us as football players because you can't stay on both sides. "You have your opinion but the only thing we can do is to show it on the pitch. The only thing we can do for our fans and our club is to fight for every point, every duel. "I know they expect sometimes for us to get behind them as well but obviously it is impossible. "If you are standing with some of the fans that are negative you can't stand behind them. "There is also your private life, your career. I received some messages saying I should speak with my team-mates and make a boycott. This is impossible. "What I would really like to do is play football and enjoy that every week. I am trying to do everything for this club and everything for these fans to make them proud and that is the only thing we can do. "Still stay behind us and let us show you that we can still put this club high in the table because we have some quality. "This is a big club that deserves to be much higher in the table."

The PL window closing when it does makes no sense at all
-
Allowing Rafa a proper RB, LB. A quality partner of pedigree for Longstaff, and additional quality competition for the attack. Fuck.
-
Looking at Chelsea and Man United - if MA let Rafa do what was needed this summer id honestly stack us up for a top 10 man. We were on to something once it all clicked. :-/

That seems to escape the minds of some fans who wonder why he took the job. He's an upmarket version of John Carver basically, he'll be like a kid in a toy shop. Look at the clubs he's managed previously. just looked at his signings in the championship and I’m sure he was fired the fuck up for signing Scott Hogan. He’s now here and he’s got a 40m Brazilian that his owner has a strange obsession over.

Not a chance that is true. I'd say there's a decent chance it's true. He was presumably on at least £100k a week at West Ham, the appearance would have to be large for him to contemplate a mainly pay as you play deal with a low basic and wages are generally higher for free transfers anyway Wonder if it’s up to 70k if he scores or something
-
If Rondon was cheap fee or free they'd have attempted to sign him, 100%. Like Tron says, the set mid teens price was not something they wanted to do and then on top of that the wages that would have been above the structure they have in place.
-
He wanted a normal *footballers* wage and if he wants 100k plus then he's entitled to ask for it - players for the top 6 get hefty wages and Rondon IMO is of that quality. Rafa's point was that you should be paying the going rate in terms of fees and wages for the right players. So yes, I'm sticking to my post. He wanted a normal football wage, whatever that may be.
-
The 30 year old Rondon vs 30 year Carroll deal is not apples to apples. There was still a transfer fee, agents fees, PL levies and all the other bull shit that Charnley and MA complain about versus free transfer, no agent fee and l, minimal additional fees. Rondon wanted a normal wage and a few year contract and Carroll is on a low basic wage that is based on appearances and goals on 1 year contract. They aren't comparable. The first deal (Rondon) makes way too much sense in the footballing world and the second deal (AC) makes perfect sense in the MA tick-tack cheap as fuck world. Sad reality under our shit owner.
-
He's an English footballer, not a brainwashed American millennial with an assault weapon. lol cmon man
-
It was a remarkable window for Bruce because he's never been at a club of this stature and been in the PL in this era of these kind of fees. So yes it was remarkable for ol' Brucey boy.
-
We're in a bit of a mess it seems. Assuming the rest of that list can be loaned or sold to lower league or abroad?
-
If only he scored against Spurs in the opener last season.
