it's also the hope that the players get on the with the job, say ya ya ya okay no cup run, finish 4th from bottom - but i have professional pride and (hopefully) i want to win because that is why i play the sport. that is what the crop of lads who Rafa compiled over the last 3 years believe, so in reality, you hope that those same players will respect the fans and themselves enough to go out there and put in performances to win for their own self respect and for said fans.

I seriously wonder about the mental capacity of a human being who works in sport, has a family, gets paid peanuts and deep down thinks he’s doing a good job when he’s been part of this mess and ultimately the rafa thing. Would be nice if this place stopped having people aggressively telling each other how to feel, react or think about all of this. Common denominator is that we know the only ways to directly hurt MA outside of physical harm is to boycott the stadium, stop buying merchandise from his entities and continue to hit MA directly. if you’re able to support the organizations with money, sweat equity / boots on the ground, social media, or word of mouth — amazing. If you can’t do any of that for whatever reason you shouldn’t be chastised for it. But again, this place has LONG been a forum and outlet to discuss football and the club. It’d nice if we kept it that way.

He won't sell us when we are in the Championship. He will assume he can throw money at it like he has 2x before and get back in the league. This club would need to go down even further down the pyramid for him to cut and run at major losses and even then, there is no telling we ever come back up or get saved by a proper owner. At that point you may get a bloke like the guy who owns Sunderland ffs. MA will only sell this club when he feels he's got the max pricing at his terms or he's going to hold us for the foreseeable future. Act of God is the only intervention where he bucks the trend and sells at a loss IMO.
