Given up on Sissoko? No. I actually wouldn't be opposed to playing him next to a Capoue style DCM who was excellent at Toulouse with Moussa. Someone who's big, quick and can cover correctly, then sure would be great. But in this form and team I don't see how he works.

Honestly the team should basically be set up like this (when fit) if we could ever make the right moves, which again, is not likely ever to happen. GK: New GK or Krul RB: Janmaat CB1: New CB CB2: Mbemba LB: New LB CM1: New CM CM2: New CM ACM: Wijnaldum / Perez / De Jong LW: New LW or Perez CF: Mitrovic / New CF RW: New RW or Perez 4-3-3 with Wijnaldum playing in the #10 role and nothing else (shame, as I was hoping he'd be able to be a proper CM) and we need 2 genuine wingers with pace who actually play the wing and can cross the fucking ball.

We need to fix the spine + add wingers, man. We have no width or threat or ability to create and take advantage of our CF or the Attacking Midfielders getting balls into the box. GK, CB1, CM1, LB, LW, RW. All need to basically be signed. Tall order.
