Absolutely. Any name change, kit change, crest change or stadium name change (new stadiums excepted for fairly obvious reasons) should have to go to a season ticket holder vote imo. Even Southampton essentially changing their colours the way they have really pisses me off. The league itself should protect these marks, kits, stadium names (historic ones) as part & parcel of being part of the league. If you are in the league, and your stadium was built before (set parameters) these items should be protected, the same with the club's badge, kits, etc.

RedBull's brand has been all about pushing boundaries etc. Being a boring mid-table team would be 100% against their brand identity.

What if he piled loads of money into the team and only put his logo on the shirt? At the minute we have an awful deal with Wonga and sports direct clad all over the stadium for free. The current owner is nothing but a chancer and a bandit who has no interst in making Newcastle United (or whats left of it) a success. Pardew even admited it, he has no clue how to run a sporting club, he is retail and his man child brain cannot step outside of that. Sure I'd be fine with it but I don't know if you've seen this or not, every team he/Red Bull have bought, they've changed the name of the team, the club's logo and colors to the standard Red Bull adidas kits with red and white. But if he basically replaced Wonga on our kit(s) with Red Bull's logo and replaced every usage of sports direct on the stadium, advertising etc with his Red Bull logo I'd take that. Don't fuck with the name, the black & white stripes, and our badge is all I'm saying.

Stronger, faster, better in the air? Think he's better suited to this league in comparison to MD. Certainly Debuchy is the more established and has made a much better career for himself at Lille and for the French national team.

didnt MYM finish the season playing a few games at LB last season and looked really good? or have i imagined that He did look good at LB and RB last season. He did look bad at Man City, but I believe everyone looked bad that night. I honestly think the best way to use him until he adapts to the league's physicality and speed is to play RB behind Ben Arfa. He'll not need as much help, he'll be less caught-out, he's faster than Debuchy, everytime he's crossed the ball in attacking positions or gone forward he's looked dangerous (I don't see him lofting 1 single cross that is for sure) and he'll be able to contest aerial balls with not as physical wide players. Sides we play against target Debuchy for his lack of pace and always being out of position, this basically solves that, while fixing our lack of physicality at CB with Taylor/Willo pairing with Captain Colo.

I actually think our answer here is to play MYM at RB with Taylor at CB with Colo and Santon/Dummett/Haidara fight it out for LB with Santon clearly in the lead. I think this allows MYM to continue to adapt to the league, he's got much more recovery pace, he's probably better at positioning and won't be caught too far up the pitch.

Is that a seperate subscription only channel or is it available pretty much free to air with most cable packages? EDIT I know the house we're staying in had all of the ESPN channels but not Fox Soccer when we were last over so i'm assuming it therefore won't have NBC Sportsnetwork.
