Honestly thinking back over the season till now, we’ve literally created some very clear cut chances in mostly all of these matches that our strikers have missed point blank that have been fluffed, tamely hit, wide or over. It’s the state of this club and the fact that an Alan Pardew sales pitch to come home means more to Daniel Sturridge than playing for Rafa Benitez at a massive stadium for our club, which today, once again, has shown itself to be an ounce of what it used to be.
