    Rolando Aarons

    No peri peri for Rolo
  2. Jonas at the very least would retain possession and force fouls to slow shit down. Gouffran should have been our sub-striker option, I have no doubt he would have done a decent enough job there as well. He was massively, massively Pardewed though.
  3. Yup. Hardly like we light up the PL the very least we can hope for is something immense to talk about Ben Arfa starting RW for the remainder of the season would at least get us 6-10 points based on assists or random goals. I 100% believe that Gouffran playing in that same position does not offer the same points in regards to "defensive" contribution nor does he do anything in the attacking end.
  4. Just fucking with you man
  5. Would be OK if the club even said "we decided to not spend money in the transfer window, but however have paid a sum to Mainz to obtain a release of Thomas Tuchel from his contract at Mainz, and he will begin on X date" even if that said date was this summer.
  6. And it hasn't been any of the disastrous signings he's signed off to which have made the trick, it's the fact that yesterday he also pointed the finger to the president by saying "he's responsible too, you know". We are a shambles Shambolic club that wins titles, has Messi, Neymar, Suarez, and has a youth system just pumping out players for fun. Aye shambolic indeed brother. I mean the work of the board in general. It's not only bad transfer policy... the transfer ban, the tax issues with Neymar... these dudes are destroying the club's name. VI, you're such a top bloke, but the word shambles + Barcelona won't ever fly on a Newcastle United board, ever.
  7. It's been talked about a few times on here. The team was near its end, Beardsley was done, Ferdinand was injured a fair bit iirc, but the ridiculous thing that he did was change it for even older players and in some cases got rid of the younger players (got rid of Elliott instead of Beresford) I'm not getting into it again, but he got rid of Ginola, which was a mistake, but generally he brought in daft players when at that point we were a team trying to win the league. John Barnes, Ian Rush and Stuart Pearce ffs. Just utter stupidity. Sorry for asking again, just reading a Keegan Bio and began to think about post Keegan and Kenny coming in. The Ferdinand sale happened literally the day after Shearer got hurt, right? Just think the Ginola sale was daft as f*** given he was LW balance to Gillespie's RW, right? Nah, it just always takes loads of effort to remember everything from that time. Ginola was out of form tbf and he was either 29 or 30 at the time, but he had a brilliant season after he left us. It was a team that needed to be tweaked, not overhauled is the thing I think we would all mainly agree upon. True, won like Player of the Year following leaving us and at least putting up 30 some-odd appearances for the next 3 years.

  9. I thought there was - it's a brazilian-y name like a flaffeffa or something with 'f's and 'v's that isn't flavela. The Filipao I thought that was the word for touching your sister? Ah hell that escalated fast.
  10. Saying that, Any of the first 4 names would make me happy as fuck.

  13. I can't for 1 f***ing second stand any post that has any bit of justification for the fact that we saw Marv, HBA, and now Cabella displaced by the likes of Obertan, Gosling, Gouffran and Jonas (and i love Jonas). I don't enjoy this sport by watching a RW graft his ass off, run the opposing winger out of play. Later that same f***ing player will be caught at his half way line jogging while a cross makes it through the back post and one of our attacks goes to waste. You watch football to be entertained or get results, we got neither with Pardew. Every single time HBA got the ball on the right wing you stood and up, urged him on and anything could have happened. I refuse to allow some of these boring defeatist posts rain on what should be an enjoyable time for us as we finally got rid of the guy who nearly relegated us and drove many of our wonderful supporters and posters on here away.
  14. Why did Kenny Dalglish break the 2nd place team up? I always wanted to know that...were there any books/bios etc that explained as such?
  15. I'd be more than happy with Temuri taking over until the season is over and auditioning for the job in that regard.
  16. Out of that list in the Chronicle 1a) Tuchel 1b) Galtier 2) Garde 3) Howe 4) McClaren 5) Clement 6) Hoddle

How long it take for keepers to be "match fit"
  18. oldtype has been broken by Ashley / Pardew. :-( Dude sounds so doom and gloom it's depressing. f*** off to the regime.
  19. How Ashley actually was OK with that (praying the contract was the only reason) based on what he paid and what he was losing out on future sell on fees is maddening.
