  1. Trying to wrap my head around the white thing at the bottom
  2. I've got a professional club in my city, and we've got Kaka, fucking amazing, I'm so happy right now - this kit sort of makes it feel all the more real and happening sooner than later.
  3. I love it, its simple, its clean, nothing fucking stupid like our Newcastle kits. It's sponsored by Orlando Health who are a private, not-for-profit network of community and specialty hospitals in Orlando, FL. Also Central Florida’s fifth largest employer as well, so it's great that our sponsor is a local company and one to be proud of as well.

  5. Vlaar's leadership next to Rojo as well as mentoring Rafael and Shaw would be good IMO. You're still Manchester United though, you can sign whoever the fuck you want.
  6. Will they spend in January? Another CB to pair with Rojo and get a RB? What else they need?
  7. Just like any other club badge these days in upstart clubs right? To be fair its Orlando City SC (Soccer Club) and the Lions are the nickname/badge/mascot. Thanks Semtex, people glossed over what I wrote up here.
  8. I love little Vurn too, shame. But I'd rather play another attacking player than 3 central players if that means we can get Aarons, Cabella, De Jong, and Cisse/Perez on the pitch. We need 2 wide players, a #10 and striker if we want to look remotely threatening.
  9. The Jungles of Orlando. Nah, there was an Orlando Lions team from 1985-1996 that played in various lower level pro/semi-pro leagues in Orlando. It's a name that has stuck with any prospective or talked about professional team through the years and Phil Rawlins (he's from Stoke) who's the Chairman and founder of the club, wanted to maintain that name + homage to his English heritage.
  10. Abeid + Sissoko is the way forward for this centre of midfield if Abeid can maintain his form / quality. I firmly believe we could use another RW or 2, sadly no HBA so Cabella + another foil to someone like Aarons with bags of pace and maybe a little more proven quality. Add to that, we still need a new Striker capable of being our "main" man who is more of an all around player. I like Perez developing and would play him for now until Cisse gets fit again but would love a stronger fella.
  11. Bring him to Orlando, I'd fucking love it. Whatever the case, I hope he gets to walk out on the pitch pre-match before half time; will no doubt be shedding tears if i could see that on the TV
  12. "i'm going to pick 4 of the fattest coaches, then compare them to 5 suave ones, that'll be funny, and original, and make sense"
  13. Very unwise of Pardew to draw that comparison, given his position, but...... A large number of supporters did turn against Sir Bob. It didn't reach the level of aggression that Pardew has faced, but it was there. And I think it was a factor in his decline and fall (although not the only one). People have forgotten this to a large degree, which is what galls me so much about the whole "dont be negative towards the manager/feel sorry for Pardew" he's not even a quarter of the man Sir Bob was. FYI - don't for a second think he's not being coached up by that PR fella who looks like he was transported from the late 90's, Kieth Bishop. Bishop and his team will know buzz words that evoke any bit of sympathy from the lambs, and that is Kevin Keegan & Sir Bobby. More so Sir Bobby given he was an older man, more recent memory, didn't fall out with Ashley, and passed away so can't even comment. It's a SICK fucking game those PR folks play and there's a reason why Bishop is around. Anything Pardew says that isn't football tactic/player related, is Bishop's coaching.
  14. KKs experience with Ashley causes him to sympathize with Pardew. It's annoying as f*** but I understand why he does it. Pretty much this. Yup
  15. I'd rather play Cabella in the #10 or De Jong and have more attacking players out there with 2 wide players and a striker.
  16. I like the texture/design on the kit. Assuming basically a plain purple home kit, which will look good. Adidas MLS kits are pretty lush these days.

  18. Doing a kit reveal for Orlando City's first MLS kit:
