  1. The problem is other than mourinho and wenger i couldnt name any other manager in EPL that MUST get us better results than Pardew.
  2. Without Europe matches, top 6 with Europe, top 10

Our squad is good / strong enough to play 38 league games in full strength, and in that sense we really should finish top 6. Completely different story if we have to play in EL.

Me too. Hopefully he does the right thing and resigns if we qualify. Yep Never happen though.

That was last season, his first in a new league, his first in a struggling team and his first in a team which contained a large percentage of new signings. I honestly don't think all the factors you mention would affect his pace Overall performance I agree, no question at all, but his lack of pace is something permanent and you need deal with. Just for example, would you feel comfort to see him 1 on 1 vs Lennon?

Brett, form can only helped a little because Debuchy really lacks pace. In the end the only way not being outpaced is to ask your winger to give help and slow down the opponent. He is a great player, but not perfect, that's why we need to choose the right personnel around him in order to perform well as a team.

Give over. Man, surely you would remember how many times he got outpaced last season?
  9. Cabaye is better than Anita both offensively and defensively. He just have a shit attitude but after Dechamps' warning this will no longer an issue for us this season.
  10. Normally I won't agree with that, but....
  11. Modric isn't that physical, he's just got a great low centre of gravity and can duck out of challenges. Cabaye is all those things though, which is very rare He is in general, just because here's EPL He got no problem in winning challenges in La Liga But yea I agree Cabaye has it all (except dribbling and pace) and that's what makes Cabaye so special and impossible to replace.

Nah, Debuchy is fucking poor at 1 on 1 with opponent's winger. Fucking poor. If we got a right back like Jose Enrique we really don't need to play a protective winger.

If he got a squad like Chelsea or Man City where he can have 22 players with starting quality, he could do very well in Europe. Will never happen though.
  14. I think the answer should be creative, hardworking and physical players are very rare and thats why Modric is so valuable.

Ben Arfa, normally, should be starting for any team and make the team better than not playing him. However we have a right back who desperately needs winger protection and this is the main reason why Ben Arfa cannot start for us. I am not blaming debuchy because he contributed a lot in other areas. I just feel sorry for Hatem.
  16. I honestly think if he was THAT good lots of teams would come in for Shay during the summer

To be honest I can understand both sides arguments (ian HF Mc Hans) but I can't understand KIs point.

It's funny that you say that because in the second half Norwich actually scored, so I dunno what you're on about with this whole us having better chances. As a s*** team away from home, they still carved out another couple of chances. We had a goal ruled out for offside...whilst on the break...at home to f***ing Norwich. If you think playing that way is fine, and godspeed if you do. Personally I think it's f***ing pointless and dangerous. So goals more meaningful and important than chance created now?

I don't think we are that bad against Norwich. I do agree we have chance to concede another goal but that is due to personnel error (Colo) rather than system failure. In the end we have performed well enough throughout the whole match to get the 3 points. Yes we definitely can do better but we deserved all 3 points. I wont count that as luck. Similar to Chelsea, we performed well enough to contain their threat and they only got one clear cut chance which didn't materialize due to poor finishing. Given our effort I don't count that as a luck win either, even Jose admitted that we deserved all 3. The only luck I agree is the spurs one. We should lose that one given our display and number of chances given to our opponent. But that's it. To claim that all 3 matches are lucky is huge disgrace towards the players, nevermind the manager.

I honestly don't understand why we are lucky to have 3 points =/= Norwich are unlucky to have 0 point. Isn't that the same?

Otherwise we would have went out and tried to beat them 4 or 5 nil. Yep. Honestly, nothing personal but I find the whole of your post completely astonishing. My post is completely rubbish if you firmly believe that the players are not tired and it is just Pardews ineptness to opt for a defensive 2nd half. How about trying to think IF the players were really tired at that moment? Mind I agree with you that if that's not due to triedness Pardews decision is the shittest I have ever seen. I still remember during the time of souness, we also tended to play brilliantly during the first half and complete shit during the second, and the reason is simple: the players were having very poor fitness level. Thus to me it isn't that strange that the players are hving fitness issues, AND THE MANAGER HAS TO BEAR FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS.
  22. I think he looks slow and clumsy to be honest. Tiredness may be?

I honestly think the players are tired and that's the reason why Pardew opted a negative 2nd half. It nearly backfired, he admitted the fault, that's it. The real problem isn't about this decision, it is about fitness. The reason why we always play 45 mins good football is because the players can't do it. Fitness problem has been always a major issue under Pardew to be honest, which is partly due to lack of squad depth and partl due to his training.
