    La Liga

Fault was a strong word. Maybe I should have asked 'is Villa being sacrificed for Messi?' Yeah well, he's the centerpiece of our team, but I don't think the problem is Messi hogging all of our attacking play and Villa dropping to a side. David gets involved a lot, but he's snatching at it. I seem to remember Sid Lowe mentioning that Villa doesn't get along that well with Messi. That said, I was probably only half listening to what he was saying and so he was probably taking the p*ss out of some Marca headline. A small Valencia rag claimed that, and Marca echoed it. Would surprise me if it's real, there's a lot of videos of both of them doing stuff together during travels. And they do have a pretty good understanding on the pitch, they synch their movements pretty well. That said, I have lots of time for anything Lowe says or claims about Spanish football. I am the opposite. Villa isn't as bad as Zlatan but it wouldn't surprise me if Villa finally falls out with Messi due to Messi's dictate tempo upfront. It is shocking to see Messi dictating the ball even more than Cristiano (this year). He has gone over the top imo.
  2. He did quite well considering that it's his first match after injury and it;s against Man Utd. If it's Norwich then it was a bad performance.
  3. His best play for us so far.

    Alan Pardew

But that's also one of the best performance we have for many years at Old Traddford.
  5. If, a big if but, if we get a win today, we are fucking awesome and top 4 is a reality.
  6. But it's away @ Basel. A silly mistake and that's it. I think he would rest Rooney and Nani.
  7. I think I'd gone mad because I start to feel sorry for Liverpool for paying 35m.
  8. The same happened against Arsenal at home. Ramsay having his best match so far. Pure coincidence ah?
  9. How can you argue that? Tiote and Ramires aren't even close to being the same types of player and Mikel is absolute s***. Ramires gets a lot of stick for probably being one of the worst players last season, but this season he's actually been very decent, spreading the team and running a lot and even getting couple of goals. He is saying that Tiote did not qualify for playing for Chelsea because of the likes of Mikel, Ramires, Lampard, Meireles. Calm down, not targeting your beloved South Americans. Just his argument is bullshit. Chelsea's midfield got completely overrun-ed. lampard was completely anonymous like He is the new Nolan.
  10. So now forced out of the first eleven by Bellamy. Poor lad. A loan to Stoke City at Jan may be good for his match fitness.

  12. Ronaldo, Tiote will definitely play better than the likes of Ramires and Mikel in Chelsea. How can you still argue against this?
  13. Nah it won't. Carroll is the beneficial of our tactics specially designed for him. Tiote is the base which allows us to deploy any tactics. He has to be replaced, which we can't find any replacement.
  14. Watch their matches THIS season. Last season I would agree with you. There are doubts about Tiote's passing ability, which I would give you that.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Best doesn't deserve to be dropped either, if no injuries.

    Ryan Taylor

I think the reason is that Raylor has been figured out as the weakest link by the opponents. The last match even though they played Nasri on the left, their actual threat comes from Milner and Micah Richards on the right, keep attacking Raylor and Jonas. In contrast, Simpson and Sammy didn't get bombed by Nasri and Clichy. Man City intentionally did that, and proved to be correct. Very likely Man Utd and Chelsea would do the same and so we have to make a change. Possibly after we replaced Raylor with Santon, it's Simpson's turn of mistakes and errors. A new side back is a must at January, no matter right or left.
  17. Chelsea deadly wants a replacement for Essien. Mikel and Ramires are proven shits who cannot dictate the midfield and Lampard is aging. They NEED Tiote. That's why we can demand a huge price from them. 40m may be a bit over but 30m isn't wide of the mark.
  18. We shouldn't sell at any price. That said, I think Ashley would sell if the offer reaches 40m, and I don't think Pardew could say no given the amount.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He and Colo were the only 2 players that can match opponent's "class" to be honest. And he has run his socks off to chase back Micah Richards. Fair play to him, it's a penalty but his effort last night should be highly appreciated.
  20. We definitely got a chance if we can play like last match. We just need a bit me luck to get a draw, if not a win. Santon for Raylor is the only changes we have to made.
