There's lots of reason for a player to fail to adapt in a new league. What the quote means is he is technically brilliant enough to shine everywhere and if he cannot do so it is not due to his technical ability.

Lets not kid on that Jose has Barca number as last season he could not beat Barca in 90 mins in 5 games. I am not kidding. Tell me a team that could beat Barca by playing attacking football. Even Arsenal is playing Mourinho's style this year. Mourinho's style, while not appreciated by you guys, proves to be the most effective one against Barca.
