  1. You can add Bassong to that list.. Yeah but they were both marking the same player... then Gardner came running into the box and there was no communication between them, one of them should have gone and marked him. Bassong was marking air too.. Butt is the one who stops chasing Gardner.
  2. Butt, you gotta fuck off forever. That's purely unacceptable.
  3. That's a career ending like tackle, or stepping I would say. Everton is having a season-ending match.
  4. one game man, jesus Even if we just get Raylor in it's enough. WE FINALLY HAVE A SET PIECE TAKER FFS. WE FINALLY SCORE FROM A CORNER. Raylor is warrented a starting place for his set piece imo.
  5. Alrite so we definitely need a new manager. Ashley you better make a wise decision this time or it would be 3 shitty appointments in a row!
  6. I didn't think we are losers there. We just didn't get all the players we want but we have improved the squad and signings of Loven and Raylor have been spot on.
  7. I could see us bringing in some lower league's manager, like what Everton did before. Those are the managers that are willing to work on a limited budget.
  8. It was the same day that I mentioned it on here, at least that's when I first noticed it. It couldn't have happened over night so it must have been put in place before the transfer window closed. Yea I remember when you posted it. I think the factoring might be related to the last ditch bid for Johnson/Veloso during the last day. We didn't have the cash at that moment and so we factored some of the debt in order to generate cash for those transfers (though failed). If that's the case our liquidity aren't that problematic. However if that's really for paying wages we are in deep shit now. Thus I would be very interested to know if we did factor any more debts after the transfer window. If we did, then we are really in a very bad position and it makes me wondor how could we really lodge bids for Johnson/Veloso during the last day.
  9. Mick, I wanna ask the factoring was done BEFORE or AFTER the end of the transfer window?
  10. I think Macbeth should answer that question as he has been doing yearly analysis for the previous few years. Personally I think the club won't have short-term financial problem as Ashley has clear the debt. However as just like what Teasy said, the ridiculous wage bill (Thanks Fred) has hold us back that, to be honest, we are not in a position to make 10m+ spending each season anymore unless we sold all those money-wasting shitty cunts (e.g. Smith). Thus unless we do a Abramovich (Impossible due to the Tsunami, face it) we gotta breakeven our transfer. What we have done so far this season is to replace those rubbish by cheap-and-quality players at minimum cost (Bassong, Jonas, Loven for example). Colo is the consolidation signing and that's why we paid 10m for him, while Nolan is an emergency purchase. Ashley's financial management (simply in financial terms, ok?) has been spot on and our position has greatly improved IF WE DIDN'T GET RELEGATED. The point is, if we can stay in EPL, sold those cunts this summer (for me it also includes NOT renewing Owen's contract), and bring in a capable manager, we will be in a much better position next season and likely to back to top 8 the season after. Howevber the downside is that we has to take a gamble this season, though originally it shouldn't be that risky (Thanks Ashley).
  11. tbh if he really performs well we don't necessary buy a stirker to replace Owen in this summer.
  12. He's those kind of player that needs confidence to perform. Fair play to the lad that he does tried his best every moment to fight against relegation and he's definitely better than Smith. However, this should be his last season and I'll pick Carroll ahead of him any time.
  13. I think it's just pretending to kill time. Well done.

Praising those bads while knocking those who plays well isn't a proper motivating strategy during crisis, JFK. I see his point but it's gone too far.
  15. I am not sure but probably that's related to the Given or N'Zogbia's deal? Both fees seems to be paying in instalments. Just sold two players doesn't mean we are free from short-term liquidity problem---though I do wonder why we need to generate cash so desperately. Bank facility close to being downgraded?
  16. So the worst situation comes : players sold, money generated, no one signed.
  17. I think he should target other players as well. Seems like the troublesome Russian is the only target this winter.
  18. Fucking hell. I could imagine how Insomnia will be treated if the deal falls through.
