You shouldn't support the club under Ashley, even for a second.
-
The simple answer is Ashley wants Rafa out and then hire a yes man. He does need to guarantee some funds available to attract someone.
-
You always have my respect.
-
torn whether i'd rather just see him walk now rather than give us another year of hope Let's face it. There won't be any real hope under the Fat Cunt. We need relegation to force him out. I don't mind go straight to League One to be honest.
-
I genuinely hope Rafa does an intentional relegation. Just do it.
-
He was bullying defenders in La Liga due to his physique but he simply couldn't repeat that style in EPL. Rondon is quicker than Mitro? Yes Rondon is stronger and taller than Mitro? No. Rondon has better finishing? No. Rondon is younger? No. Rondon has better work rate? No, on par at best. Rondon has better link up play? No, from what I saw in EPL. That could change under different manager. As I have said, the only plus is Rafa got a striker that he brought in and he will play. Simply as that.

a Juv friends told me about the arrangement with Adidas. Basically the current deal would give them around 52m income from those Ronaldo shirt sales.
-
That also kinda explained why Rafa got no money this summer. It isn't the issue anymore.
-
Best wishes. I believe his reason is genuine and we all know it won't be for something happy.
-
I think the money is there, but very limited, say just 20M. Hence we only bid for Plea and other deals are all zero cost deals.
-
Yea the players and Southgate deserves huge credit for what they achieved this tournament. No doubt about that. Something needs to be changed though, for the next Euro.
-
Obviously Chelsea has quoted the price. We are just not willing to pay for it now, for whatever reason. Although it is disappointing not to have the clause inserted, ideally we could make the move permanent like the Merino one anytime during the year, or even this summer as long as we meet the asking price. To me it looks like we wanna reserve some cash for a new striker. If we really failed to get one, I could see us spending the money and make the loan permanent.
-
I know it's definitely a positive news, but...
-
If Rafa confirms leaving next summer I could see Lascelles opens to a move to west Ham
-
My guess is Ashley simply want Rafa gone after this season and so he is saving money for the next manager (empty promise of course)

I don't expect the word "luck" creates such a debate to be honest, and I don't think it's bad to have luck anyway. If you aren't good enough you won't be able to utilise your luck. What Gareth got it fucking spot on is how England defend as a team. England never gives away easy chances to opponents in this tournament. And he did this by playing shit defenders. That's pretty amazing, isn't it? They aren't comparable to the likes of Rio Terry Campbell Seaman Neville etc. England is, however, playing the most solid defense in recent decades under Gareth. You really have to praise him, and also the midfielders who gave them all in chasing down every plays, blocking, covering, shielding... this never happened in the old days. The likes of Gerrard Lampard Beckham Owen would not play like this. Solid defense is a must for any team to win in a tournament. England could easily crash out by Columbia and Sweden due to sloppy goals conceded. And then that's it. Last 16 again. Gareth deserves the praise.

It is a fact that he has got a lot of lucks in this World Cup. Without Lady Luck England won't be in semi final. It is also a fact that he adopted a tactic that works well for the team that is lack of qualities. Although not attractive, uninspiring, and in a way over conservative, he did manage to bring out the best of the team. Beating Sweden is not as easy as it looks Considering Swedens recent records. He has earned another four years imo.

That team gone from sure winner in any competition to mediocore team in local league, once Paulinho left.
-
Make sense because of the uncertainties re Conte / Sarri. If they want him back they can do it in mid season. We likely have an option to buy him next season then.
-
Decent replacement for Hayden. Nothing more, nothing less. Won't complain since it's for free but we can't rely on him to be our starting eleven.
-
He showed his strength and weakness during the last game: physically strong enough to dominate the defenders and get into great scoring positions, but failed to score goals due to not good enough finishing. If he irons out his finishing he would be a top player. That said likely we don't have the patience, nor Rafa.
