  1. Bent. Could play well with any type of striker and by himself. Good pace and is good in the air. Ashton is too slow and very cumbersome and highly injury prone a bit like a not so good younger FAB.... Bent or Crouch for me.
  2. lol yeah he was at fault for the goal. Close him down or push up and he does nothing. Thought he might score a goal today...
  3. There was one where he sat on the ball, which spilled out into Viduka's path and was tucked away. Certainly remember some of his fanboys at the time claiming it to be an assist and "good play". Derby? Faffing about and ended up getting tackled before FAB tucked it in no trouble.
  4. 0... not once. Geremi Butt Taylor Beye Faye All managed atleast 1. Smith is a disgrace and can't be sold quick enough.......actually he can.. anytime this summer would do...
  5. Surely the Glazers know what they're doing...
  6. Selling? He's out of contract. Isn't this thread usually for confirmed transfers? Steven Pienaar to stay at Everton. Oh okay. Should've signed a new contract a long time ago.
  7. Flamini really leaving? How much? Arsenal shouldn't be selling players who are in their prime.
  8. lol he does look pretty confused and unhappy with the situation. Guti is probably the most feminine looking player in history....
  9. Zambrotta's legs are too wide open.. he's almost squatting.. n/h
  10. Arsenal are pretty formidable at the Emirates. Lost once I think, to a team who had an incredible amount of luck that season...
  11. It's still Jose's team to be fair. So Avram is the better tactician? Motivator? Can't say I've spent much time in the Chelsea changing room... how about yourself? They play football matches in changing rooms? Motivation is done on the touchline? No but the effects happen on the pitch. You judge someones motivational skill by what comes from it, not what the've said/done. I'm only playing Devils Advocate here.... We can only speculate... that's the only point I was making. We don't see what goes on pre-match or half time. We don't get to see the training sessions. From the little I've seen of Chelsea this season I haven't noticed a great deal of difference in their style of play. They're often still playing with just Drogba up top although they have gone 4-4-2 more than they would have under Jose. They're still in the title hunt and now the Champions league final so Grant has done well, it would seem. However the players are more or less the same. How many did Grant bring in? How many of those are starters? It's still Jose's team. Given the same draws would he have got Chelsea into the champions league final this season? Who knows. Aye totally agree. The football has remained the same, they play the same system as before but Avram's achieved something Mourinho never did at Chelsea. He's had some luck that Mourinho never had at Chelsea but people tend to discredit Avram alot.. One thing I did notice. Ballack has put in more effort recently than he ever did last season.
  12. 60% glory hunters? Fuck off with that bullshit lol.. There are many, MANY more fake Manure fans in terms of sheer volume.. you and I both know more fake Manure fans than fake Chelsea ones. The Chelsea glory days are far too recent for people my age.. everyone who is my age and older and have hunted the glory from a young age support Liverpool or Manure... I despise this breed and they are far too prevalent in our society....

  15. Ronaldo's tears are much more powerful than my disdain for Chelsea..

  17. True. Also thought Rio was fantastic. Vastly under-rated. Now don't get me wrong, I like to make fun of his 'linen' story as much the next guy, but what a player. Intimidates strikers that should be intimidating him. Also a cool head and decent technique. Re: Ronaldo v Messi. Messi is the better player, I would say, but Ronaldo is far more destructive against weaker opposition, which is why he'll be in the limelight. Ronaldo isn't exactly s****, but he clearly struggles against decent opposition. Messi isn't as immediately devastating, but the opposition are less likely to throw him off his game. Finally, ya gots to love Scholes' strike. Agree with this post almost entirely. Ferdinand and Brown where both brilliant. Rio's always been class and there's no doubt about his pedigree (best English defender for awhile now) but Brown surprised me. Didn't put a foot wrong all game. Totally agree on the Ronaldo v. Messi front. Ronaldo lost the ball countless times and he looked frustrated. Didn't do much good all game tbh. What a goal by Scholes. Such a brilliant player and in some ways i'm glad he'll play in a CL final.
  18. Wes Brown is a far better centre back than as a right back.
  19. Maybe he's on a yellow or has an injury. because it's true he's like an alsation or whatever you call those dogs.
  20. lol as he gets stretchered off and substituted
  21. Honestly, i'd be happy for us to lose if it meant that Manure wouldn't win the league (they'd have to lose the CL as well). Shoot me.
