So now it's Ozil chasing Lahm... he's going to cry.
-
Well struck penalty miss lol
-
The rule is a bit of a joy kill.
-
AH LAWD.
-
Balotelli does it well. So does Berbatov. But those are natural and composed finishers. Ozil's normally reluctant to even shoot ffs
-
Exactly. Head down and put the laces through it. tbh anything but what he did.
-
When Ozil did the little stutter run-up, you knew he was going to miss.
-
Agreed. So leaving him out match day squads makes sense. Using him, doesn't.
-
To be fair to Ruud he had the decency to resign. And he is Ruud fucking Gullit.
-
He should be banging on the managers door, demanding to be played, putting in 100% in training. I bet he's not. I agree. But I wouldn't turn to him at any point.
-
But why was he even brought on? He's a 27 year old on a first team wage who has had runs in the first team/key man off the bench. In recent months he's barely even been on the bench. Pardew clearly has no faith in him, why pretend to do so now? If one performance can make you put a senior player in the youths, he shouldn't have been playing. At least AVB had the decency to totally freeze Adebayor out.

Yeah after a year of him playing poorly and mentally being a wreck he worked things out himself. Likewise Tiote. Maybe I am being overly harsh and maybe our coaching staff did well and it needed to take over a year to get him through it. He was class previous to coming here too lets not forget. Although we had a very poor season last year. Cabaye was still one of our top performers. Was solid at the start of that season, looked good when he came back from injury for a month or so before his form collapsed. Wouldn't say he was a wreck. Likewise people say Tiote was terrible in the season we finished 5th which is laughable. He wasn't playing at his best levels but he didn't have a bad season by any means. Ryan Taylor, Mike Williamson and James Perch didn't have bad seasons either ffs.

City shit scared. A lot of teams play Barcelona already defeated and City were one of them. Stood off too much, showed too much respect, too slow on the counter. Even Valencia who beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp looked like they were going through the motions for 40 minutes to a defeat.

If Marv & HBA don't play i'm certain Pardew will end up getting sacked by the end of the season for two reasons. Firstly, they'll be on a combined 60-100k a week, that's a lot of value wasted to Mike. Neither will be easy to shift for good/decent money either. Secondly, we need both of them to have a decent end to the season. Without them, we are sure to get closer to the chasing pack and finish 11th again. I think Pards used them when we were short in numbers, but now Tiote and Remy are back he probably feels it's safe to give them the cold shoulder again. He doesn't rate them and I doubt they rate him. Pardew will stick with the players who he knows will work to his prehistoric gameplan, and Marveaux is definitely not one of those. Moussa, Tiote and Anita will struggle to create anything. We'll be in poorish form till the end of the season. Especially when moral drops.

don't be so sure - they're owned by a billionaire who seems to have some ambition Fulham? They are getting relegated.

Signing Jonas when your team is devoid of creativity and goals.
-
Barely in this thread.
-
This is probably the worst thread on the board. You have a player who is out of shape yet most people on here are blaming other people for this.
-
Ronaldo's right.
-
Personal conditioning is PERSONAL.
-
That doesn't mean he's in good condition. He's clearly not.
-
So what does that have to do with my comment about December?
-
Aye, he should've put it away from danger. The lads in front of him did a poor job of sweeping up too.
-
The least he could do is get in shape ffs. Talented footballer but I don't have much time for the lad personally tbh. Nothing worse to me than someone who doesn't even try to maximise their own potential. If Cabaye where still here I would be happy for him to sit on the bench with Siss/Gouff outwide. Maybe even Sammy if his application in training is superb.
